WARNING - ADULT CONTENT! SEX, STRONG WORDS & VIOLENCE! This might be Chapter Two in the series but you don't have to have played Chapter One to enjoy it - there is a 'catch up' briefing. Don't forget that Respawn is turned off in most of my modules - and this is no exception! Includes a conversion of the Runequest booklet, Apple Lane. Version 1.10

Pity about the faction bugs.

The falcon (Road to Rainbow Mounds are) attacked me, too.

I killed all the bad guys while doing Gringle's quest but the Chapel door would not open. Used the toolset to discover that Xarban's conversation includes the script to unlock encounterdoor2. Problem was, he died rather suddenly, before he could speak (stealth mode, lightning bolt, etc.)
I read and fully agree with your comment. I have been a player since 1980, and the same over simplified damage system has been in use by D&D for all that time. My Fav. was used by GURPS (if you remember that far back). As for this mod, it word better that chapter one, where a faulty portal in the first dungeon (the temple) quickly stopped the game for me. I did all the quest on this one, but never did find the dildo the cleric at the Temple of Sune was asing for. Any hints?

This was a lot better put together than part 1, and I found it a very enjoyable mod to play, with some very nice entertaining little touches - loved the penguins! Only real grumble is the unresolved faction bugs - I had the innkeeper's family turn hostile (but not attack me) whereupon my hench promptly killed the daughter - getting me a 5 point shift to evil (and herself dropped from my party before she caused any more problems!) I also had some faction issues with the torch seller and a falcon which decided I was an enemy (although it stayed 'blue' and was invulnerable when I tried to swat it... overall though, good fun, and worth a look.

This was fun but a lot of the encounter seem a little
hard. I think too that bugbear would make better Rune
quest trolls. Some bird attack me for no reason and a guy
too the two of them were invincible...I don't remember in
wich area, sorry.

Yes we need ducks....
Have not played runequest but the swedish RPG "Drakar och
demoner" that is basicly the same game.

Thanks for the comments. Watched out for
Runequest's "Phoney Stones" ... coming soon... (I hope.)

My god, apple lane, that brings me back a LONG time. Makes
me wish there was a Runequest CRPG out there. Actually, any
system other than D&D is fine. It has always been the
clumsiest, crappiest set of rules in existence, but, like
Microsoft and Intel, TSR or whatever it is now has got the
definitve edge when it comes to content, and that is what
really matters. Not that you probably give a dam about
that :) Anyhoo, good idea. The rolemaster system, now that
would make sense. I wonder how many people used the
Arms/Claw law tables fpo criticals at the very least.

LOL, this was kind of fun convertion of applelane, even
though I think goblins and bugbears would better reprisent
trolls on runequest.
And yes, I´m one of those that expected a duck with a
horned helmet as assistant to gringle. ;)
It was a bit of a bother how to defeat that big "lizard"
before I explored the southern forest. Interesting way of
giving that oppertunity. :p
On downside you should fix whatever problem that causes
some NPC´s to be consideres enemies after fighting some
monster or bad guys. It is a realy bother not to kill the
torchboy by misstake. the same problem was in first module
in the small village with the mine. :(
