Quite a good ending of the series.

All I can say is WOW! I can't believe I'd never played this series before!
It's very funny (sometimes down right hilarious), but still manages to tell a great story with engaging characters.
I agree with others that posted that the combat was too freakin' hard at times, but I was having such a good time with this, that I didn't even mind really.
Excellent work, everyone should try this series (especially the Rerolled campaign which was phenomenal!) _________________________ The less you know, the more you believe.

I played through the hole campaign and it was really good ( the rating is for the whole campaign). Note : I'm really greedy on tens...
I had not given a ten because in the first 5 modules (out of ten). I got really frustrated by too hard combat and by the fact that XP was only gained through fight. I was playing a rogue and it was really hard without a good henchmen to help me maneuver for placing my sneak attacks. Indeed, the balance is really much better in the ''rerolled'' campaign and the fact that you have a henchmen with you helped me much. The second part of the campaign is really better than the first one so keep on playing up to those one and you'll be surprised.
Still, the humor and the storyline is good (or should I say GOOD !!!) so it deserve its 9 rightfully !!! Be prepared for a good laugh and don't take it seriously !!!

The whole Gagne cycle deserves higher ratings, too. I give this rating of 10 for this particular module as well as the whole series. The story is outstandingly creative. I am very impressed. I am not saying that there aren't any possible improvement but the story itself simply blows every minor issues away. Such creativeness is simply impossible in mainstream games. Thanks to NWN and Stefan Gagne, I can experience such a fantastic story! It is very linear but there is no boring moment. The story grasped me all the way from the beginning to the end and it is simply amazing!

Not much to say that I haven't said in past reviews. The D20 gang backstory was nice as was the Baatorian office complex and the conflict with Azul. Good end to a good series.

I'm a 68 year old young at heart roleplayer, not too fast on my feet for the real stuff. This is without a doubt the best series I have played and that includes Baldurs Gate and NWN plus. Great stuff.
If you have magiced any more modules I am going to find them and no doubt enjoy them. Have you ever had a 68 year old roady. Rock on!!!!

The Penultima series could be sold as a game in it's own right. Excellent. Loved the humour that doesn't interfere with the gameplay, liked the modified monsters. It just got better and better. Encore. _________________________ Nope, nothing springs to mind...

Very satisfying end to this great series! My biggest wish was to learn more about the d20 gang. The end sequence was superb! Thank you Mr. Gagne!!

An incredible- and hilarious- role-playing experience. I've played through both the Penultima and PRR series twice now (first time: sorceror/fighter; most recently with a druid/monk/shifter). Its capacity for offering different endings provides quite a bit of replaying value. _________________________ NWN: Shifter Expanded Classes hak, GLWizard Spell Pack

Stefan, I LOVE this series. Well, all your work is pretty damn good. This is by far the best of all the Penultima games, except number 3 in the original series. Look for my up and coming The Shadowsword Chronicles module! _________________________ I think the GPS Navigation things in new cars shouldn't have that woman's voice, but the voice of the HAL 9000 from 2001 Space Odyssey.

The best humor ever!
Not only that, but it's even lots of fun to play!
Very good job adding custom descriptions to every single weapon and item; it reminded me of everyone's favorite humor writer's footnotes.
The last part of the module gets the most original ambiance in the game, in my opinion.

I expected a big fight at the very end with the "evil" puppet master... Otherwise, lot of interesting twists.

But I got stuck at the "AzulSystems Basement", I saved Whisper in PR4, and the "Whisper's Freedom" & the "Whisper's secret" are with me, when I talk to Azul in PR5 in his CEO office, the conversation will end at "summoned creature" then "unsummoned someone", I think that should be where Whisper show up and join........
Just don't know how I can get Whisper summoned?

I've really enjoyed the series, but I'm about ready to start throwing things at my computer right now.
** spoiler alert **
I've got the paper done for the copier, but now I need to get the toner. Read the cheats and I need to find Flik. But for whatever the hell reason this bugger doesn't seem to exist. I've run around that level over and over and over again. I've tripped the room rotations repeatedly for the last half hour and planin and simple this guy NEVER appears. Not once. So where the heck is he??
