One of four ancient beings banished to the outer planes, you have returned again to the world of men to reclaim the domain you once held. You return to the mortal world in a weakened state, but you are certain that with time you will regain your former power. This module introduces the concepts of real-time strategy gaming to NWN. Players will be able to summon and control an army of creatures, gather strategic resources and magical artifacts, and command their minions in battle against up to three other players, playing as the commander of the Dwarves, Undead, Spider Cult, or the Unclean. Each team has a unique set of units available to them, and mercenary creatures are available for hire by all four teams. All resource and artifact placement, as well as some encounters, is done randomly each time the module loads for excellent replayability. Victory conditions are either destruction of all enemies in Elimination Mode, or collection of a set number of souls in Harvest of Souls.
There are other versions that are newer on the vault.

I've been fooling with this module for months, REALLY original ideas.

How about TURRETS for base defense (possibly golem-like, sort of, or just a ballista on a swivel mount with an operator seat, etc. - or good old giant-gun/missile-launcher/other-type-of- ranged-weapon-sticking-out-of-a-small-but-
somewhat-heavily-armored-mini-bunker-on-a- turntable-that-auto-targets-and-attacks-
anything-hostile-within-range(-and-can-see-
cloaked-or-invisible-or-disguised-units), those are OK too) or holding an area?
Another possibility to consider is the use of artillery (howitzers? mortars? catapaults? (heavy) slings? grenade launchers? 2- or 3-man energy cannons? stone-throwers? battering rams? cutting beam "rams" or wall-breachers?) or bombardment (possibly from a ship, or from the sky (from a dragon, an airplane, a glider, etc.) or from casting Bombardment, etc.) to soften up a base for an attack?
Lastly, couldn't it be possible to irradiate/contaminate/gas/tactically nuke (or some kind of equivalent)/lvl. 40 (epic) Implosion/self-destruct/otherwise depopulate/destroy/cause serious and lasting (if perhaps not permanent) harm to a base?

Hi, All. My copy of HoTU will be here sometime next week. Timendainum already has his and has discussed it with me a great deal. I aksed him if I should keep the HoS release a SOU Edition and he resoundingly said no.
The additions, added by HoTU improve the game a great deal. Therefor, I agreed that I would likely release this as a HoTU edition for several reasons:
#1 - Sky Boxes
#2 - Scripting commands
#3 - I can trim the HoS Hak Pack down in size quite a bit and maybe add some new content. I can remove the following and use the official: Manticore (CODI's does look better), Illithid, Beholder, Gelatinous Cube, Lisa's Clothes Hak, etc. With that in mind I may add some additional content in as well. My version of HoTU is from Gamestop so, I can download the Bullette. I figure that I could use such a creature in my Deserts I may also add the Swamp tileset in as I have some ideas for it.
We shall see.
#4 - Dynamic items
#5 - Official crafting skills
#6 - Might be able to fine tune my vampire (and lycanthropes) to not use an inventory tool for their commands.
WHAT I HAVE ADDED THAT I CAN REMEMBER(There is a lot):
Player Vampires (my version... not a download from the vault) are in.
MErchant caravan that wanders around the world.
Vote to get unstuck
Team Control Wand
We're up to 42 unique magic items (artifacts) that get placed randomly around the world.
Yesterday, I spent testing the vampire out.
I am packing this module so full of features that it will tide people over while I go work on ALOE (sequel with 10 teams).

Well I needed a break. Thus, I decided to add some more to the RTS - Harvest of Souls module and release it as a new SOU requiring edition.
For those of you that have not played it. This can easily become one of the most unique and entertaining modules you have ever played. I get very excited by this module. I love it. :)
Anyway, here are the planned additions in the SOU Edition:
6 new desert areas - using desert heat
.. Desert will have 6 random unique items placed with different guardians from the other areas. Also will have 3 regular mana pools, and 1 strong mana pool.
In the desert will be an oasis camp, a tower, and a sunken palace to explore. It will be a dangerous area. I plan to make some unique magic items that can only be found in the tower and sunken palace.
3 Winter areas - featuring a new frostbite script
.. will have 3 unique items placed... and 2 mana pools.. a ruin will be available to explore with a completely unique item.
Finally, I plan to add some more NPCs (some may use NPC ACTIVITIES) in the city and in the Oasis area.
This should add some newness to an already very fun module.
I also plan to add NPCs that can be spoken to in order to unlock the SOU Prestige Classes for this game.
Sound Fun? Stay tuned... this will be a fast release.

I could probably release a SOU version of RTS - Harvest of Souls and add some more areas and such and maybe some more NPCs and quests. I might be interested in doing this if there is an interest from the community.
I will not ADD or ALTER the existing teams but, I could add more things if there is an interest. Like I said though... if I did do this then I'd need to release it as a SOU requiring module. I am no longer supporting non-expansion NWN. Takes too much of my time to keep them separate.

I hope to get back to work on this as soon as I have HoTU. I can release the sequel and reduce the hak pack size using Hordes of The Underdark expansion. I also need to see what the new 150 scripting commands are so that I can see how they might aid these scripts.
First you will see RTSA Scripting Package released. After that ALOE should not be too long.
I am currently working on NPC ACTIVITIES Professions to get it out of ALPHA stage so, that I do not have to worry about it for awhile. NPC ACTIVITIES is my most popular download so, I get a lot of requests to update it. I am a bit burned out on it so, I am trying to get it done to a level that should keep people happy for awhile.
Do not expect the RTSA Scripting Package until after I have HoTU (which should be soon after release) and ALOE probably within a month of the release of RTSA Scripting Package.

I check the link a few posts below this one every day hoping for updates, since I can't see the guild board on the official NWN site.. How's it going? :) Will I have to wait much longer?

Glad you guys like it.
Sorry about the delay. I got fairly ill at the end of August and am just now getting back into good health.
Had a hard drive crash too... so, I'm playing catch up and reinstalling some things.
No Data was lost... I had it backed up... saw the hard drive becoming unstable. :)
