Description
This is the first chapter in the grail war series. If your looking for a quick hack and slash for an hour this isn't the module for you, so pick another, as this one is far more role-play orientated. This first of two chapters has 17 large quests spread over 42 areas, which are designed to be used either by an individual or small party, though not as a persistent world. It is set in the fictional town of NewPort, which is beset by raising lesser race attacks that seem to be organised. Who is behind it? What are their reasons? Can you help to find out in this complex role-player? Conversation, battles, puzzles and other clues will help you solve it all. NOTE: Please insure you have patch 1.32 or later of NWN to play this module as it has secret doors in it. Check readme for other details.
Big mod, a couple of clever quests, I enjoyed it. It definitely leaves you hanging, though.

I also have a problem with the rescued girl. When I get to the gates and enter the city, she just keeps taggin along. I've been all over the city and Scrubs with her, she won't leave. I am using version 1.62, however, I added the HotU Exp Pack *after* I started playing your MOD... maybe that has something to do with it? Anyway, I will try your fix... GREAT MOD!

Top mod. Disregard previous comments. Sorted. One of the vamps had the key and I didn't search his remains. Did the debugging but girl stuck around for a while ( no extra 100xp)until she got killed. Found end battles in castle to be a little easy for 8/2 - 9/2 ftr/rogue (after buying magics). Anyway ended up 9/2 about 3000 short of next lvl. Highly recommended and most def one of my faves. Thanks very much and any news on part 2? Cheers

Loving the mod so far. Missed one or two quests and am too high a level now to check them out (7/2 Ftr(gladiator)/rogue). Started at 2nd lvl but it was so tough but caution does have its rewards. On the vamp hunt, cleaned out graveyard but can't find keys to get through doors? Couple of things the little girl, forgive me but I am a dummy dummy where do you type in debug mode etc to negate this. Didn't even realise i get 100xp as well. Also as it was tough spent a lot of cash on buying potions etc. Prefer the challenge of bashing away, rather than teleporting out resting and going back in. Based on this have not been able to buy normal gear can't complain at mo I'm AC 30. Also as my gladiator has exotic weapon focus/spec/imp crit with B. sword, I hoped I'd find one. I've found 7 +1 B. Swords though and buying the +2 is most expensive item by far. I'm gonna search graveyard area one last time but anybody out there can you help?

Enjoyed this module more than 90 percent of the ones I`ve played. Challenging but not frustrating, interesting story line. Hope to see Part 2.

Some news about part 2? Are you gonna update part one too to use the two XP and CEP? _________________________ The hottest new modules you can't miss - player suggested Contributor to Overlooked Module Reports An interview with me about NWN mods

Good story (as far as I could tell) Well designed areas Good Scripting Completely ridiculous fight balance (Gamestoppingly silly enemies for recommended levels) _________________________ With magic, you can turn a frog into a prince... With science, you can turn a frog into a Ph.D.... ... and still keep the frog you started with.

The 3 is there simply because the layout and quests were well done. However, there were sooo many scripting error messages that I finally had to give up. hopefully, the author will go through the module and correct the problems instead of simply posting an "in game fix" as has been done for one of the problems. _________________________ We are all born ignorant, but one must work to remain ignorant.
