In the previous module, it was discovered that unknown forces were pitting the Red Shield militia of Scornubel with Zhentarim troops. The sole purpose seems to have been the ready creation of corpses, which were transported to Hill's Edge by a rogue known as Shrak. You have travelled back to Scornubel, with little more than the name Quincel left on a note, and a claim ticket for a warehouse in Hill's Edge. After explaining the situation to Josura, you must continue on to this little town to investigate further. Make sure you download the associated hak pack. Note that this is the same as the previous Shadowlords module, so if you've downloaded it once, a second time isn't necessary.
great mod. again just as in the first, interaction with henchmen was great. this one had a little bit better story. really hard fight (i mean REALLY hard) i played as ranger with teira, but it just made it all the better when i did finally beat them

Nice balance of continuity from previous module and variety in setting/adversaries.

I guess it's a good thing I played this with my brother. Some places the creatures would have been overly deadly for my character otherwise. Mostly interesting. A little off level. _________________________ The road to Ravenloft is paved with good intentions.

SPOILER In the Temple of Cyric Level 4, even though I am wearing a symbol of Jergal, the guardians are still attacking me. The monster when you first enter tells me I may pass, but everything attacks me. Why? This is making it impossible to complete, as my party has no hope of taking on the creatures in the south library. If anyone could give me any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Not too bad, but I agree with the other postings of weak writing and did find it kind of annoying that none of the NPCs recognized that I had finished their side quests (robe, mayor, etc) _________________________ There are three kinds of people in this world - those that can count, and those that can't!

Excellent follow-up to SL1. Again, I found the module (mostly) built to scale for someone of my character's level. There were more than enough tasks in addition to the main quest to keep me occupied for quite some (indeed, I'm not even sure I found them all). I was likewise impressed by the inclusion of possible romances for the main character. While my character (male NG wizard 3 or 4/ranger 1) opted to use Nooble for most of his run (and ended up agreeing to be his mentor), the extra romances available do provide some replay value here. The only combat which gave me pause- as others have noted here- is the one with the revenant and skeletal fighters. Admittedly, I didn't try out this battle with Anera (which might have made things easier); as stated before, I used Nooble throughout the mod. Unfortunately, I found the battle here to be far too unbalanced to win on any terms, let alone easily. SPOILER: As someone posted on the board earlier (thanks to him/her, BTW), the best way for arcane-types to tackle the revenant is to invest in several Fireball scrolls and just let 'er rip. I expanded on that advice, though, by keeping the rest of my party in the main room with the friendly spectre, while luring one skeleton/revenant at a time to the main room, then letting my party have at it. Done this way, it is possible to clear out that room (the spectre even helps you out here)- though it IS time-consuming. Even with that, though, this was an all-around well-done adventure. The tone set here has me looking forward to the Dreamcatcher series... _________________________ NWN: Shifter Expanded Classes hak, GLWizard Spell Pack NWN2: GLWizard Spellpack with Extra Invocations

I restored from quicksave after finishing in the temble of the death god. Suddenly, everyone hates me. :-| I had to kill the entire room full of guests at the Mayor's party, all but the priest at the other temple attack me. Even the ox and the little boy! What happened? Is this a bug?
