This area of the world is primarily human but dwarves are not uncommon. All other races are rare.

You should definitely have at least one fighter... preferrably two. A cleric would also be extremely handy.

Description
This is the non HCR (hard core rules) version of Trouble in the Silverwood. It's considerably less challenging than the hardcore version but, its still no cake-walk. For centuries the Silver Vale has known peace, but now dark forces stir within the nearby forest. The local village is in need of a hero. Will you be the one to rise to the challenge? Trouble in the Silverwood was designed for a party of first level adventures but can be played solo as well. I would recommend that you be around third level if you are going to attempt the module in single player.

The first time you get to level up, the ranger that's with you will disappear and err message with 'invalid target', and after finish save boy, the druid will still not join. It appears this mopd has been orphaned itself and a lot remains broken. _________________________ Does this armor make my butt look big?

10, although it should be a negative 10 for not answering the board and leaving the community in the darkness about any reason why the series is incomplete.

Hello. Enjoyed the module! Ran into a couple typos and bugs, but nothing game breaking. Not a fan of the rest system or having to sleep just to get stores to open again. That might just be my taste though. Good scripting and dialogue. Nice intro. I played single-player and did fine starting out at level one. Seeing how this came out in 2003... I'm guessing no sequel? Why not?

I enjoyed playing the module very much for many reasons:
- deep backgrond story
- the player char isn'nt left alone in the middle of nowhere after doing his jobs (I never understood why mod builders follow this sad bioware tradition). The NPC really care for his /her deeds and fate.
- combat: Everything is well balanced (maybe one very important NPC should become plot after loosing a certain amount of hp).
Last not least : using an orb wich enables the pc to use or switch off all HCR rules like in the 3d adventure series
would spare you to maintain to different mod versions ;-)

I hope you enjoy this module. I originally envisioned Strange Alliance as an epic adventure, but soon realized I would need to break it into smaller installments. This is installment one.
If you enjoy it (or if you don't), please post and say so. If you have any comments or constructive criticisms, please post them as well. It only takes a few minutes and your feedback helps improve future modules. Perhaps more importantly, it lets module builders know that you appreciate the weeks or months of work they have put into the adventure.
Thanks,
KCS
