Description
The module begins in the quiet town of Cedarspoke deep in the Gulthmere Forest. The player(s) explore the forest and exit in the west near the Lake of the Long Arm. The focus of the module is on exploration and acquiring familiarity with the Dragon Coast setting. Detailed Documentation provided in the form of Book items at the beginning of the module.
I have to agree with the author regarding some of the problems inherent to NWN style RPG. True, realism is dead for whatever reason. Treasure, magical items and economical concepts are gone too. With the number of magic items present in the OC or the average module there should be at least one "magic item factory" somewhere. It is also true that one do not need 10 years to reach level 10 it is more like 10 hours add this to the removal of permanent death and the sense of achievement and pride we may have had before is now long gone. Once you played at low level for a while there is little enjoyment playing at level 1-3 for months. There is certainly a proper pace that must be found (neither three seconds nor three months). The author mentioned that most modules are too easy. It may have been the case back in 2002 but not anymore. It is often the way around even in the OC and Premium modules. The weak goblins did provide a smooth ride from level 1 to 2. The weak orcs were a big harder to handle but were ok (one at a time). After that I am not sure if the module is that balanced for a level 2. Even with a better armor (chain) and a tower shield plus a long bow I had a hard time dealing with multiple bugbears or worse spiders. I have always suspected some kind of bug in random encounter engine but if it is no the case this module fail in the category of poorly balanced modules that I cannot recommend.

I'm glad to see someone setting a module on the dragon coast. I found your essays at the beginning of the module to be refreshing, I agree with you completely. Can't wait to see more of your work.
Some comments on this module:
The idea of not having music is a good one, it really brings out the environmental audio, which is very well done (except for the constant cricket chirping in cedarspoke at night, can do without that).
However I think *some* music could add to the module's atmosphere. Perhaps some battle music in a dramatic fight/dungeon/tavern.
The CEP could add some more visual immersion to the module. I noticed you made custom items for the mod, with the CEP you can make some really fantastic looking weapons. Building placables such as lighthouses and additional houses are nice to.
The orcs were a bit tough at level one, but most of the encounters were just right.
Overall, it was a great module and I look forward to the rest of the series.

Though this module is marked final, since it is a part of
a series, it is never going to be final, so I checked the
box. Therefore, any ideas, changes, bugs, or other
comments are VERY MUCH appreciated. I strive for quality
control and quality content. I know the plot elements of
this mod are underdeveloped, but that is a result of both
intent and quick publishing on my part. I wanted to get
this version out so I could get some feedback on the non-
plot elements.
