Description
This is the first chapter in the Hero of Waterdeep epic story. The storeys first chapter takes place near the great city of Waterdeep where you got involved in a plot that will change you calm life forever. This second version of chapter 1 includes a new intro movie and a new Hakpack that also is requested to play chapter 2 however it will also be included in chapter 2. You still need to download the first version of chapter 1 since it contains all the Haks needed. There are no big changes in the story so you wont miss anything important if you dont download this file. There are a few new resting areas as well as new sounds added. I hope you like it. /msg. Ps! If you like to vote on this module please post your vote on version 1 of chapter 1.
Im sorry to say that the procject is down because of large problems to make the Haks from part1 to match with the expansions soo I decided to shut the procject down. However Chapter 2 is finnished and test played and even Chapter 3 is half way done. But if you are intressed there are a Movie trailer in the movie sector for chapter2.

Ok where to begin.
* The first quest in Rin with Kelter. On the floor in the Kelter Estate where Jon is there is a sword on the floor beside his body. Pick it up and bring it back to Taris,
* The Red Gate; in the room where you encounter the daemon there is a note on the floor next to the fireplace, pick it up and bring it back to Brett.
********************End of Spoilers***************************
It is strange that you find the areas so dark since my beta crew and could see them perfect.
I´m sorry that you feel that this module is just a gee since I played through it many times and to make sure that you could complete it with every class possible.
You are correct about that English isnt my first language, Im from Sweden.
I will fix the spelling errors with Brett, I guess that I missed that one since I recognise it from other complains, thanks for your notice. Yes the transitional is invisible however I think it looks better then a blue area appearing in the game.
Thanks for your comments I hope that my answer will help you complete the mod.

To update my comments below. I have had to stop playing your mod. *Not* because of the problems I noted, rather any of the quests I undertake (Rin--Kelter, find Jon. Red Gate--??) will *not*(!!) complete. In Rin, I found Jon's body but was unable to interact with it in order to complete this task. In Red Gate, whatever I was to do (ermm, was that 'demon'on the third level it??) I could not complete that one either.
My honest suggestion: Go through the mod and check ALL the scripting to see what is going wrong.
Some things to check: Area transitions. The PC should be facing *away* from them when going through. Not towards them. The various areas, outdoors are waaaaay too dark. The player should at the very least be able to see his/her character. I had to go into Options and slide the Gamma slider all the way to the right before I could see my pc.
This mod has the feeling of "gee, I forgot to change the settings back to player." What I mean is that it seems that when you finished building it you posted it in a "playtest" mode. It has great potential but until these errors are completely fixed, my friend this one bombs. Sorry. _________________________ We are all born ignorant, but one must work to remain ignorant.
I just started playing your mod. I'm gonna guess that English isn't your first language, either that or you are being very careless in spelling and grammar.
I've stopped just after rescuing Brett and returning to his home. In what would otherwise be a *very* good mod, I find that the spelling errors (when Brett wante me to return to his home to "discuss" this matter... not disguise.) And it's "don't" not dont. It's little things like this that really detract from what otherwise could be a great mod.
The GOOD points: The layout of each of the areas, the lighting, or rather the *lack* is great!!! The encounters were a bit strange but then I guess that's to be expected, considering the creatures used. each of the areas were simple but effective in your use of items (the forest area first encountered was well done. not TOO much just enough).
One BAD thing: Almost all of the transitional areas were literally invisible... until you slid the cursor over the intended target, then it would change.
I would suggest going to the vault and, I think you'll find it in the "Other" area, download a program that was submitted that will check your spelling and grammar as far as the dialogue goes.
I FULLY intend to finish this mod and then will be back to cast my vote.
