I remember playing this when it first came out and felt it never got the attention it deserved. Much better than some in the hall of fame. Good work I really enjoyed it.

Nice, simple and lots of fun! An excellent example of how well writen atmospheric NPC conversations and design can make a mod shine despite the lack of custom content used.

A fun little mod. Creature encounters were repetitive though and it was pretty simplistic. Impressive for a first mod though. _________________________ El Dano Black Thorn -- a Forgotten Realms mystery adventure for levels 23-27. Mountain of Mirrors -- a classic PnP conversion for levels 4-7.

this is the first downloaded module i ever play and finish. i think it's great :) I'm playing with a sorcerer character and i have to say it's not a walk in the park. I can do nothing until I got Pit as henchman. (part of it is my fault...should not pick a pixie as familiar at first. after changing it to a fairy dragon everything is fine.) I also use Tony K henchman and battle AI pack...which makes enemies use their skills (like hide). so all wolves and goblins are always hiding...and i got ambushed sooooo many times. goblin hideout becomes a tense dungeon...where you can get killed without even seeing your enemies. (partly also coz i'm a sorcerer...2 hits and i'm gone :( ) I agree that goblin dungeon is big...but i'm ok with it coz 2 out of 4 levels are quite short. BTW...I cannot find a boar for the girl right outside berthold. it seems that the wolves already kill it (i saw a 'remains' near 2 wolves...and i didnt kill that thing). thanks for making such a great module :)

Great Module. I played it yesterday. It was good fun, and everything worked fine. I had no problems with the quests. Maybe there are is a little bit too much treasure and healing potions to be found. But maybe you need these if you play as a wizard. I played a cleric/fighter from scratch and didn't need that much potions and money even though there where some tough fights. In the end: a great modules, thanks for making it.

Very nice module! Well done Jack.
Started with a fresh Druid. I didn't know about the henchman, so I went through it on my own, just me and my wolf. Two deaths during the last fight cost me some XP, though I still manage to finish the module at level 5. (The cost of being over-confident has taught me not to blindly charge into crowd of enemies. Perhaps luring them to a more managable number would've been a better alternative.) At the end, only one quest was left incomplete, and that was the quest given by the little girl at the outskirt. Something about finding her pet boar. I've searched the entire area, yet her boar was nowhere to be found. Perhaps it got killed by the wolves and rot away.
All in all, I really enjoyed the module. Thank you, Jack. Looking forward to more. :)

This mod is gorgeous, brilliant and amazing. It's wonderfully balanced, well written and bug free. It could have used a tiny bit more fleshing out and some henchman interaction. And it needed to be about 4 times as long. Because I had a blast.;)

Pretty good mod well balanced fighting and leveling.I was just waiting to continue the adventure but when I got back to the inn in town and asked the hero that was talking to the kids that implied he was on a mission if I could help he didn't elaborate on it.I assume he will in part 2?
