Description
Astral Marker is a tribute to HACK N SLASH gaming. This module containing over thirty areas and dozens of home brewed monsters and boss characters should be a challenge to even 20th level characters. Contains a leveler and a teleportation system called The Shadow Plane.--Help Durin stop the Madman Jhingtal who has obtained 'The Astral Marker' an artifact left behind by the gods of travel. Help The Silver Swords army stop Jhingtal's Demonic Seed Knights.

This module was recreated in a more advanced SoU version by AngryGnome A.K.A. Dr_Nightmare(yes they are both me-no i'm not schizo)The new version contains 55 areas and 150 custom monsters - the dungeon in astral marker is only 1 of 5 dungeons used in the new module titled:

The Garrote Assassins: By AngryGnome
It is much more worthwhile just to download Garrote-it improves on this dungeon and adds much much more gameplay (probably 40 hrs More)

This mod is the perfect multiplayer mod, yo! High level 9 constant fighting without the problems of communicating with other party members about quests etc. Really enjoyed the scaled encounters. Thanks!

Thanx.... Astral Marker was only designed for one purpose,
to create a character at high levels and then kill a bunch
of powerful stuff. Mindless? Maybe a little, but sometimes
I don't feel like a heavy plot..sometimes I get off work
and just wanna kill stuff. The Spawn encounters were
designed so that I could throw as many monsters as possible
at you without freezing your computer up...Anyway this game
should play multiplayer pretty well so test it out. I
personally dig multiplayer Hack N Slash..Thanx Strange1,

If your going to build the leveler right in to the game,
you have to go heavy on Spawn Trap type encounters since
you don't know what level the characters will choose to be.
Other feedback I've received Praises the ending of this
module for having "Hardcore" bosses And Impressive areas.

Looked really good in the beginning until I wandered
around tripping a ton of spawn traps and endless searching
for keys,Till I got bored and quit.

Just finished version 4 of Astral Marker, found some spawn
in problems and problems with some keys, also left starting
point in wrong place on version 2 (oops, It's an easy
mistake) if your familiar with the toolset you can drop the
starting point at durin's barracks, version 4 should be
online soon- it solves all the problems sorry about the
delay.
