Description
The second installment in the Paladin Trilogy. Midnight opens with your imprisonment in the Mooncrest Prison due to the events at the conclusion of Twilight.
**** Read the ReadMe before playing. There is a lot of useful information. ****
I have uploaded extensive spoiler documentation that can be found here: Midnight Spoilers
Great modules, Twilight and Midnight. Had lots of fun playing them, the puzzles were mostly interesting (Exception: That room with those braziers, I tried it for more than an hour until I gave up and had to read the walkthrough... >: ). Good use of Paladin-equipment and skills/feats as well as Pirotase's abilities - she's a well-developed character and our Paladin would be more than lost without her. The scripting is excellent. Alltogether one of my top 5 favourites. You get 10.00 from me although I am very disappointed because the trilogy isn't complete :.( . Maybe there is still hope for Dawn... pretty please^^

Sets the standard. Absolutely brilliant.

Some improvement over Twilight. I like the story, especially the part that steal the keystone from the vault (who said Paladin shouldn't steal?) and also the puzzles. Without the puzzles, there is not much good gameplay from this game. And near the ending, your last quest just involve killing some random creatures in 3 small maps. I find it amazing that so many people give it a 10.

If anyone is still reading this: I can't find my way back to the children's playground to go to The Burning Sands. I opened the Portal, but then left and did Bloodmoon. Will I be able to finish?

First off, excellent mod! Story is definitely getting better and better as its going along. **SPOILER** Im about to enter bloodmoon and it looks like the place is inhabited by vampires/undead. Left my magic mace topside and didnt bring it down due to weight issues. Low Str, high Char paladin. Seeing as how the game rarely gives out any gold I couldnt afford to buy a magic bag so I couldnt carry around all three magic weapons at one time. Tried to go back topside and obviously game wouldnt allow that. Any suggestions? Otherwise it looks like I have to revert ALL the way back to a previous save, which I dont look forward to doing. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

It might be unfair, but I don't really like the storyline of this otherwise wonderful game.

Personally, I'm one of the people who hasn't given up. Even if we haven't seen Dawn, I'm willing to wait on a chance. I'd prefer to contact Rick if I can, since as far as I know, he hasn't said anything himself ever since the interview, so we're in the dark on the subject. I've played through the entire thing a while ago, though, and even if Dawn never comes into the light, I'm still glad that we've gotten as much as we have from Rick. So, I'll keep on waiting, regardless. I suppose that's it's better that there isn't a contact, though, since it would have been flooded by now. Ah, well.

One of the best modules I've played. I thought parts of Twilight were a bit dry (but the end was amazing), but Midnight was definitely awesome. Pirotase is one of the best henchmen I've seen and a very complex character. Her interactions with the PC were very good and got emotional responses out of me. I only thought that Ashram was a bit more childish in this one . . . but he's still a good antagonist. Anyway, good mix of combat, roleplay (made me like paladins a bit more than usual), and puzzles. Too bad Dawn seems to be hopeless unless the fans can make it. _________________________ If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a hoper, a prayer, a magic-bean-buyer.
