Description
Aboard Captain Hale's ship, you have departed from the rainy town of Valas in pursuit of the priestess Jael. Unanswered questions flood your mind. Who is Jael and what was she doing in Valas? What is so important to her that she would attempt your demise? How are Dullun and the dead girl connected? Icarthia holds the answers, but will you make it?

The first chapter was great, but this one...
The story of uncivilized stupids! And the quests...
Kill an animal, fight, kill an animal, fight, kill an animal...
Do you really think that is interesting?
The animals were neutral, then (if you want to get the quests) you have to make them enemies.
Nearly every merchant just sells arrrowa. (Just at the boat you can get other items.)
The module is more hack and slash. The animals regenerate in too short time.

An interesting sequel, forwarding the story. It would have been great if there was a chapter 3 to complete it but that's probably never going to happen. Pity!
I soloed it with my fighter char from chapter 1. Battles were challenging and more balanced than chapter 1. Again, a funny module with some hilarious moments. Especially when I found out who was the great warrior of one of the tribes. That was a surprise :).
Some simple quests added to the mod. Puzzles in the trial room were tricky if you didn't pay attention. The two figurines, the one with the spider and the other with the frog, could have been easily overlooked. Maybe you should have put them inside a chest. Running around wasn't an issue for me, the pixie in the bottle helped a lot. The layer of some maps was a little tiresome though. I liked finding items that could boost your character but also giving him a penalty. Nothing good comes without a price :). Great work but it's a bummer to leave things incomplete :)

This was a good one. A few modules seem to be based on the "stuck somewhere you don't really want to be" premise and it's always enjoyable when you finally get on board the ship at the end! Combats were by and large well balanced. Puzzles were interesting without slowing things too much. The only complaint is the layout - too much running backwards and forwards up and down and round and round instead of in straight lines, and the rather weird situation of bears and big cats joining together in gangs... still, it's got to be rated quite high.
These modules seem intriguing, indeed. As the fate of the third part of the series seems very uncertain, I thought I'd ask if someone can tell me whether the first two parts form some sort of a contained whole by themselves? If I wish to bring in a character from other modules and also continue with other mods later on, does it make sense at all to play the first two parts of this series in between?
The modules seem very promising, so I, for one, hope that this series will be concluded at some point. : )

TLW is an excellent MOD! I can't wait until the final chapter is ready...Eye, any word on how long?
Piper...it took me about 35 tries to find the correct path through across the stones...each time you step on a correct stone, two more will appear. Pay close attention when to zig and when to zag and you can finally make it across. _________________________ Make it a great day...or not;

Alright... Hopefully someone's still watching these comments, as I am stuck beyond belief... I'm in the Xuchal Temple... I found the note on the bones, stepped on the pressure plate on the right side of the room, and the door opened... Now this other room keeps kicking me back to the beginning... There's nothing in the room to interact with... walking quietly doesn't help, and I can't seem to find a path where it doesn't kick me back... unfortunately, I shattered the bones that were located on the red plate, and I'm completely stuck, because I can't even warp out of the room (Wyla won't come out of the bottle)... Since I already saved the game after the bones were destroyed, and I can't get pass the explosions that reset my character to the front of the new room, I'm essentially stuck, and can't continue in the temple... Please help me... Thanks sooo much....

Finished this with a sorcerer.
The "boss" battles and the final battle especially were fun, although the more mundane combat was nothing special.
The "trials" that you must pass toward the end were pretty clever.
Worth the download.

I play this second part with my Priestess of Lathandre and a friend Rogue. We have great difficulties in major battles, specially the final which we have to play 3 or 4 times to win. The animal spirits were finally not so hard as the rest.
Beautiful mod with good story and dialogs and various quests :)
But the negative point is : THERE IS NO END OF THIS SERIE :'(

Hi Eye, thanks for writing back. :)
I believe I finshed it with the older SoU version and if the amulet was on your neck when you killed the will o' wisp.
I assume boarding the boat was the end of chapter 2. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.

Loved the two mods, and I'm looking forward to #3 when Life allows the time. Just one question. I have the chapter 2 hakpak in my hak directory, but the custom portraits didn't show up in the game -- just lots of white rectangles. Any guesses on the problem and the fix?
Thanks,
Meg

Well, I haven't been able to complete this due to that black chest not opening after defeating the Will 'O Wisp, but other than that, I liked what I saw. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.

Features one of the great all-time NWN villains. Excellent mod.

Pesky real life, that's the worst! Here's hoping that you get some free time at some point to continue this great series. That one-room mod is a pretty hilarious idea, by the way.
I had no idea you were on a Mac. That might explain the problem since no one else seems to have the issue you explain. I don't even have NWN installed on any computer right now and I don't see much chance of ever making it Mac compatible. Sorry. It really sux when life takes over and you have to juggle priorities. Chap 3 is permanently on hold as well. If I can find some time in the next year to work on it, that would be heaven for me, but things just seem to be so crowded right now in my life. *sigh* Growing up sux the big one. Oh well. If people push me too much I'll make a one room module with Jael in it and you can go to town on her! :)
