Sorry, I didn't enjoy this very much.
I found the dialogues to be very poorly written. They were perfunctory at best and riddled with typos and grammatical errors. They felt amateurish in that they invoked "nerd-speak" far too often (one character exhorts not to "solo" some monsters, for example). Place names, character names, the constant reference to things like Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, pot smoking and so on, while amusing for fifteen seconds, all serve to really detract from any sense of immersion, and, frankly, feel very juvenile.
The quests and areas are extremely linear. You pretyy much travel through things in a straight line, with no real side quests, or anything more than 'open the door - kill the monster - take the treasure' (not so much of the last part, either!)
The loot is uninteresting - well, nearly nonexistent, outside of a lot of potions and scrolls, which you really use up quickly. It certainly doesn't feel commensurate to the monsters you fight.
When the module ends, there's a real feeling of "wha. . .that's it??!!" I felt like I spent more time building a level 18 character than I did playing the module.
I personally felt that the encounters were too much; my party went in with a lvl 18 monk, lvl 18 strength fighter, and a level 18 arcane archer of some sort. The module does suggest levels 18-20 so it's possible that we would have had a better time of it at level 20, and I don't hold the difficulty against the author.
I hate to rain on the author's parade - the individual areas were generally quite nice architecturally speaking, with a lot of painstaking detail work done. But I didn't find this module very fun at all, and I had to apologize to my party for suggesting it.

Great details, too short and way too much loot at the end.
I would like to say something about the issue reported by Intel-Andy. I am playing this mod with my friend and we both possess a mac. For us, the .exe file does not pose any problem. The important thing to note is once you have rename the file with a .zip stuffit will not decompress automatically the file. You have to select the file and choose yourself the application to open it, namely stuffit.
By the way, I would like to say to the author that is module is great and we have fun to play it.

I haven't checked this page in quite awhile. It's nice to see people still having some fun with it. : )
Intel_Andy:
Thanks for the nice words. I'm glad you guys had fun with it. I keep forgetting to fix the robe and change it to AC 0, sorry bout that. :) I would like to make it as easy as possible for all users MAC/PC/Linux, maybe I'll just have to create a true zip file finally. :)
Xentonum:
Glad you had a good experience with it. It sounds like you chose the perfect lvl range to use for a 4 person group. I really should be suggestions 3 - 4 players lvl 15 as opposed to lvl 18. Thanks for playing. :)
Steve_Savicki:
Thanks for playing and voting Steve. :)

Your henchman will die (at least for me), but it's possible to beat this multi-player version with a single powergamed 40 level character with devistating critical.
Same vote as the single player version. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.

Fun little adventure; wish it would have lasted a bit longer. Nice touched with conversation and environment.

This is an excelent module, well worth playing. My group played through with four 15th level characters, two fighters, two spellcasters. We found the module challenging, but not overwhelming. The only feedback I could give is providing more items at the vendors would be nice. I wish more modules were like this one.
My brother and I have started playing your multiplayer version with a 18 Sorc and 18 Druid/Shifter/Monk. Great fun so far, certainly the most challenging mod that we've played so far, with nice atmosphere and fairly engaging story.
The custom items are pretty cool as well, although the Moonlight Mage Robe is Light Armor, so my Sorc brother couldn't use it.
One minor note: my brother is a Mac user, and he couldn't do anything with the .exe files. I had to extract them on my PC and then email the files to him.
Renaming the .exe file to a .zip file didn't work either; Stuffit refused to decompress the resulting .zip file. Usually Stuffit is able to decompress .zip files, but apparently just renaming the .exe to .zip doesn't work.
We've worked around it and are playing, but just thought you'd like a note that some players might not be able to do this workaround.
We'll vote when we're done, thanks for the great playing experience so far.

If you are using Linux just rename the .exe files to .zip and open them accordingly. If you are using a MAC I think stuff it should handle Windows zip files as well.
Best of Luck. :)

Could you please post a standard compressed file format? This looks promising, but since the installer is a windows-specific program, it is useless to many of us.

Finally will vote on this mod, played it last week. Liked it very much, really nice music and custom content.Nice to see a mod for higher level chars, balancing is usually difficult to accomplish at higher levels but this one handled it well.Too many mod creators forget there is a difficulty slider in the game and most of us don`t particularly like potion guzzling and endless reloads. A very polished mod and played flawlessly on my comp with no bugs. Thanks!

This is a bit of a surprise to tell you the truth, and I'm very honoured to be inducted. I'm picking up my new PC this week. Once I get a faster system I think the toolset will once again call to me. :)
To expand upon you thought.. If you change the extension from .exe to .zip you can open the files as zip files. That seems to be the best solution I can think of for Linux users.

Touching on the zip vs. exe format that someone mentioned a while ago for Linux platforms.. not really related to Linux, but on OS X if you feed the .exe file to Stuffit Expander it digs the compressed mod out for you. Since I'm guessing the exe is just a small installer wrapped around the file itself, I wonder if there isn't some solution out there like that for Linux users too?
