This is an adventure about a prince or princess that has returned home from adventuring afar. Upon your return however, you find out that your home is not the way you left it. New enemies have risen up against your king and you must help uncover these traitors.
This module is not combat heavy, however that is one way to gain XP. The other is speaking in character. I hope this adds a different excitment to the module that is not seen often. PLease email me with comments. Zip file includes ending movie. thats why its 3 megs.
By the way!! I made this Module assuming that the Item Level Restriction was off.
Very nice mod. Will start with chapter one immediatly. :)

A fun little "change-of-pace" module with a surprisingly intriguing story. The quests are quite fun, the scripting is good, and the player will find that it's actually pretty easy to level up and become fairly tough. Yes, there are some aspects of the story that may seem implausible--for example, why does the PC have to jump through so many hoops just to see his/her own father?--but I do feel that the explanations actually given in the game are adequate. And while there was no shortage of spelling errors (and a few times when my female PC was referred to as male), I found the dialogue to be quite charming overall. The movies are professional looking and nicely set the mood. Recommended.

While the basic plot is sound, the rest of this module is poorly done compared to many other submissions. The dialogue is truly atrocious. It is simplistic to the extreme ? designed for pre-teens. The author is confused about alignment as well. He believes that rude people are evil and that good are meek. Just about every dialogue gives the character only two attitudes ? rude (evil) or meek (good). The NPCs are of the annoying variety. None of them treat the character as the king?s son. They are barely civil and don?t react appropriately to the dialogue choices. They are all one-dimensional at best. The author in his notes states that your character should care about these people and not go on a murder spree. However, even a paladin would be tempted to do so. It is no wonder the character left to go on adventure! This has to be the worst set of NPCs I have had to interact with in any module. The author really needs to go back and rewrite all of the dialogue and present the character with more interesting choices. If the only dialogue a NPC has is ?Don?t bother me, I am too busy? then why bother putting the NPC in at all?

The background story is interesting and I'm being drag into the mod easily. However, the final assassian is too tough and I have to lead him to the personal guards of the king and let them to help me to defeat him. _________________________ Overlooked Module Report February 2009 | Master List | Forum Thread Academy of Modding Excellence Romance Module List Horror Module Collection Starlight's favorite module list

I have played a bit of this one and found the story interesting. It might be a bit strange that the returning hero is lvl 1 and that he is poor. Worse, although this mod tries with some success (does not work well with Neutral) to let you play your alignement some early compulsory fights are a bit over the top. How many time do you have to reload just to get pass the "princess" guard? Was it really necessary to give him such a weapon? A bit later you might reach lvl 2 but it is still not enough to pass the next guard. The only thing you can do is run-shoot-run-shoot until you get tired or you managed to take that him down. Some of the NPCs are not reacting properly either. Won't anyone bother to inform the King that you have returned? Instead of you chasing people or doing the go-get-some-food quest it would make more sense that some NPCs might come forward to speak with your character or that a guard might bring you to them. Made a wrong turn at some point and thanks to another critical hit lost my character. So despite the story I might give up on this one. One more thing, I am not sure why there is a bleeding system in place since this is a solo module with no henchmen.

A fun modules. I'm still looking forward to the sequel, if one is still forthcoming.

Good story and atmosphere! I also got stuck when my animal companion killed the ghoul leader. Is there any way to reactivate the plot? I don't want to restart the game all over. Thanks.

Nevermind, I poked around in the toolset and figured it out. I didn't realize Mila was lootable.

I went into the sewers, killed the orc and minotaur, and found Mila (dead). I can't get through the portal, or the door from the sewer house. Where am I supposed to go next? Thanks.
