Description
Concluding the story from Pts1 & 2, your journey takes you far into the Frozen North, to discover the true fate of William Goodsun and Rose LeDuget, so that you may clear your name and prove to the world that there is a traitor in the High Council of Haighmarsh. After finding a way to escape your inprisonment at the hands of Councillor Veldart, the Spirits of the Forge tell you of their waning power, and the awakening of their ancient and deadly enemy. You must travel into the depths of Karak N'Ar, a dread place where the dead do not rest, and ancient evils lurk. It is here that you will discover your true character, and, whatever choices you make, you can be sure that what you discover, and your own actions, will shake your beloved Haighmarsh to its very core..... There are a number of mysteries to solve on the way, and two possible endings. Included with is a chronicle of the events in Parts 1 & 2 so you can refresh your memory, or play this mod without having played pts 1& 2.

I liked the story and how it slowly played out. The forges were cool, but I wish there was a way to mass produce similar items, like 3 mageworts + 3 wines + 3 herbs gives you 3 of the same spirit potion. Or at least fix it so all of the ingredients get placed in the same spot. The tragic tale quest I never solved, so I figure I missed something somewhere. My only real annoyance were with the dreaded cut scenes of doom. Playing a single-class cleric, I frequently used a lot of buffs and a lot of summon spells. The cut scenes had a nasty habit of eliminating all my buffs and sometimes unsummoned my summoned creature.

My last post was truncated. The missing part is that if I am wrong aobut the boulder being a plot item, then I apologize for the rant and accusation of slopply design.

Well, I must say, I am stuck. (spolier warning, blah, blah, blah) I camped out near the deer enclosures, saw Dargo poaching, followed him (in the cutscene). When the cutscene ended, I was standing in front of the boulder location. However, I had chopped my way through the boulder earlier thinking I could get through to somewhere. If I go to the farrier or Dargo, there's no option to mention the poaching. If the boulder is necessary to finish that quest, OK. I hope it's not necessary to finish the mod. If so, expect a very low rating for all the Devotion to Darkness mods from me. If it is necessary to finish the Poaching quest in order to finish the mod, this is yet another example of sloppy design in not flagging a plot item as

Ok well two bugs I found... The henchman eats stuff. You give her stuff but she dont put it on. if she gives you sruff she dont put it on. Another words if you use her iventory system she becomes nearly worthless. Well she cant really die but..I have seen this bug before using that script. Also the forge is no longer forging wespons, rings etc...I forged one helmet and it quit. Is there a limit? dunno
