Weary from your journey through the Craghorn Peaks, the welcome sight of an Inn greets you in valley below. As the sun sets, and the chill north wind begins to bite once more, the decision is made that the fame and fortune awaiting your motley band in the remote city of Anark Hill can wait for one more night. As you approach with thoughts of a comfortable bed and a hearty meal, you hear voices raised in anger coming from inside the Inn

Played through as a player. Nicely done -- really moved along fairly well and was a lot of fun to play. The plot unfolded in an orderly fashion and there were enough surprises there to keep me guessing. Well Done and thanks for sharing.

I'll second Skunkeen's comment. I had a ball until I died... _________________________ Stuff I've done.

Very fun module. I just love the premise... bring beer back to the poor sober people of the Craghorn Pass... certainly an evil that must be righted!
I thought the design was very good and the plot development was also very good. It could stand for an updating to include HotU and CEP as well as the newest versions of DMFI and HABD. I had some issues with the DM Voice Widget, but I'm not sure if that was related to the scripts or server overload.
From a DMs perspective, there is just the right amount of NPCs and encounters to manage. The inn is well done, and the few roudies are well placed and easily controled (just think sober frat boys ;)) I thought some of the combats were a bit hard for a 3rd level party, but none of the reviews I have gotten say that. It may have just been me.
The documentation is pretty good. I found some typos, and the desription to the NPCs/Areas could be elaborated a bit. Although in many ways it is good, because you leave a lot of room for the DM to make decisions.
Didn't encounter any bugs, so the mod was well test-played and ran smoothly.
This mod also allows for a lot of RP, and even has a split ending so the DM can decide which way to take it. Works well as a one-shot or a segue to another mod.
***SPOILERS***
I was unsure about the end-game. The group chose to attack Old Jim and his henchment... big mistake. The henchment walked through them like a flame tongue through butter. I spawned the Captain and slew the Half-orc henchmen. Worked out in the end, but not sure if that is how you intended it to be played out.
Also, the group went down into the cellar first. They were unable to defeat McTavish's Zombie and had to retreat. Then they went to the barn and found the stuff there. That makes for very good RP and forces the players to think. Very well done there.
It played well for the group I had, 6 players @ 3rd level, but they did get spanked around a good bit. The zombies are tough with no magic items. I shutter to think what only 4 or 5 players would have to go through.
***END SPOILERS***
All in all, a very good module and a lot of fun to play and DM. I am already thinking of how differntly I can play some of the NPCs to change it just a bit.
Thanks for your contribution, and please keep them coming.

Our group had a great time with this one shot adventure. An interesting story that doesn't require multiple sessions to figure out.
Mechanically the game was pretty good. But I did have a problem with the items (barrels and crates) near the old man. They got in the way and was kinda buggy to go through. One of characters was stuck and I don't know if had to be moved by DM.
Good job, I look forward to more from you.

Simply brilliant! =) One of the most fun modules I've ever played online.
