'Shades of Moonshae' is a campaign module that is designed for play over several sessions with the same group of adventurers. Once play is complete, the same party can move on to my other campaign modules, including 'Torgan's Delve,' 'Drums of War,' and 'Paths of Shadow.' Over twenty areas, a storyline that includes various sub-quests, numerous NPCs for DM possession, dozens of custom items and creatures, and hundreds of encounters await your exploration. Designed for team-oriented play by a group of 4-7 characters starting at 1st level. A Dungeon Master is required. A complete DM's Guide to the module is included in the zip file. This module uses the HCR ruleset (with modifications), created by Archageo and others, version 2.0, SR5.3. The wand kit created by the DM-Friendly Initiative, for both DMs and players, has been installed. Uses Galleons hak by Schazwozzer.

An excellent starting point for any campaign, LB's or your own or something else. A nice kickoff for new players to get to know each other and explore a little. Excellent roleplay opportunities in the town, and well thought out plot (which of course can contort any number of ways). My group completed this module in 4 3 hour sessions. _________________________ -Festivus
I can't read the DM guide because it apparently is configured for MSWord, which I don't have. Can you make a version that is readable without MSWord?

Brilliant! This module is ideal for the DM who has enough time to run a campaign, but not enough time to build the content every week. I was running all the one-shots I could find, but my players wanted the in-depth characterization that can only be found in a campaign. The readme is nicely detailed, but lacking a map, so be prepared to spend a bit of prep time walking through the areas and finding things in the palette. Personally, I also prefer the updated versions of Lazybones's campaign modules that use SBR, HABD, and the updated DMFI package rather than HCR. It might be worth your time to convert it. Nice plot, great custom monsters, and a few standout areas (the Northlander Crypt has some great trigger-scripted atmosphere). I wish more DMs would put this kind of thing together!

I'm really enjoying this campaign. I hope he updates it to the version with the DMFI 0.4 tools installed. :)
