Out on the frontier a lonely inn run by a pair of retired adventurers stands at a crossroads. Travelers finding this island of civilization in the wilderness will find opportunities for adventure in every direction, and like-minded fellows to join with to seek treasure, experience, and glory. Those who are skilled, daring, and willing to work together will succeed. Others will leave their bones behind for the next group of explorers to discover. 'The Crossroads' is a campaign module that I have been running on Neverwinter Connections almost since the game was first released. The game begins as you enter the common room of ?The Traveler?s Rest,? and includes sixteen areas, two scripted quests, nearly a dozen NPCs, and hundreds of encounters. An HCR version of the module (recommended for DM-run games only) is also available at my website, using HCR 2.0.

This was my first time out on Neverwinter Connections, and
I feel very lucky to have found a good module to play AND a
good group to game with at the same time. A very enjoyable
experience.
I'd like the designer to add a few more traps so my rogue
character has a chance to show his stuff. The only trapped
chest we found destroyed two of the characters. Haha, wait
for the rogue!
I'm ready for next weeks session, and hope we can all meet
again.
Thanks for the mod. I won't be downloading it, cause I
prefer some surprises.

Thanks Omnipa and Shinji, I'm glad you've had fun with the
mod. Crossroads II is just about ready to upload; it
starts with the same base area and adds three quests in
five new areas, plus two "new" versions of old areas, and
is suitable for group play for levels 3-6. I will upload
it here sometime next week.

Hail and well met,
I have just returned from a 3+ hour session with 5 lvl 1
Players, They throughly enjoyed themselves and would be
playing still but for the fact that their DM is old and
needs rest.
This is a fine module, and an excellent first start for
any campaign. The Fine documentation and logical layout of
the module made it DM Lite, and thats just fine. Being a
solo DM this time out, It was a relief to let the NPCs and
Players do the talking.
I found the Balance to be great, and look forward to
continuing to follow this story line.
Thanks Lazybones,
Omnipa

I'll get the file uploaded tonight, but until then you can
download the module (as well as the HCR version, and the DM
docs) from my website (link above in the game description).
Sorry for the inconvenience, but when it comes to free web
hosting, you get what you pay for.

This mod sounds interesting, I would love to download
it...... Seems tripod is not allowing that currently any
possibility of uploading it to vault to make it
accessible. Thanks in advance.
