Description
The Guntaak, one of the oldest tribes, had lived in peace and harmony with the cave dwelling goblin horde for centuries. Until one fateful day, a goblin warband came to the Guntaak settlement under flag of truce to trade. Once within the perimeter, the king barked the for his warriors to attack and the bloodbath which ensued saw the majority of the tribe slaughtered. A member of a small hunting party that day, destiny saw you escape the fate which befell your unfortunate clan. On seeing the smoke rising from the trees you arrived to survey a scene from a nightmare, your village destroyed, bodies littering the earth. DM Info: DMO module, NPCs must be possessed by the DM. Main encounters are pre-laid, but can be supplemented where appropriate. Designed for server vault characters. The DMFI package (0.3) is implemented, along with the HABD system. Download: Comprehensive DM guide, Hak Pak and Module included in the archive, which is in RAR format.

Everything about this module is excellent. I ran this as my first DMed module for players with no experience at NWN - some with no experience with DnD 3.5. It was a perfect mix of hack n slash with roleplay.
I am actually penning a sequel campaign whereby the Guntaaks have taken over the labyrinth and begun to subjugate the lesser monster races, and my players will be playing monster races trying to escape from the heel of oppression, with their former Orc PCs held as revered leaders in this new Guntaak Empire, chasing their escaped slaves and, at the same time, waging war on the (SPOILERS)duergar refugees left behind by the kingdom after their failure(SPOILERS).
The story and atmosphere of the module has served as great inspiration for both my players and me, and I appreciate the professionalism that went into it.

This just might become our trainer for new DMs...awesome job _________________________ People react violently to fur rather than leather because it is easier to pick on rich chicks with bad taste than biker gangs.

Ran this module a few days ago on NWC as my DMing debut and had a blast (with a few minor additions to the module). Highly recommended for anyone looking to get their feet wet!

Oops. Never voted. I really enjoyed running this game, as did the folks that I played with. I only remembered to vote as I was thinking about running it again...

Just posted this with my vote, but it's probably worth being with the other comments:
I've had this module sitting on my machine for a few months, always thinking I'd learn to use the DM client someday and run it. Well, I finally did yesterday, and this mod is *great*, especially for a new DM. It's short (we got through it in about 2 hours) but nicely so.. good for getting everyone together for a quick game on different schedules. It could have been a wee bit longer, but it left the players wanting more, which is always good. Maybe I'll try creating something in the same style for them. Anyhow: well documented, nicely sized, and easy to DM! Loved it! Only con: it seemed to be a little light on the encounter difficulty for the recommended 4 5th level PCs. My 3 PCs took it apart.. add your own encounters and raise the difficulty slider when you run it!

I've been playing NWN with friends for years and we've yet to find time to DM a game, let alone build one - this 'DM friendly' one looks perfect to settle half that score.
I'll report back with progress...
I hope for great things - and usually get it with NWN! I've yet to see a more supportive and consistent modding base. Many thanks to all you NWN-modders out there from our 'Neverwinter Thursday' club.
"Bah! Pen, paper and imagination was good enough in my day"

What a GREAT module its my all-time favorite! ( DM-Friendly TOO :D )
145 downloads and not a single vote or comment. Some feedback would be nice!
Thanks,

Great fun, excellent DM guide and module design. The orc roleplay was hilarious. The combats and puzzles were exhilarating as well. The large number of preplaced creatures however were my only caveat, since these can create lag on low end machines.
