While th eunderlying story was nice, the module has spelling and grammer issues that are distracting. The NPC's are shallow, no character development to speak of. Tower levels are repetative - meet a bad guy, who then dissappears, find him/her again after clearing level, get key, move up. Repeat 5 times. There are also some issues with the reasoning/logic of the mod. For example, **Spoilers** one NPC is frantic about his lost brother. It turns out he is just next door, a few paces away. Although he could not find the brother, he knew instantly that the brother had been found and sent home. How did he know? Later the PC is told that everyone in the village knows of him, yet if everyone is stuck indoors and can't get out because of the storm, how did they get that info? Doesn't make sense. The Mother part was very odd. No explaination of why she was there, or how she got there. No follow up afterwards to make sure she was ok. Overall the mod was enjoyable. A bit of work on the writing would make it much better. _________________________ KMc

Erik/Berra possible spoilers I finished "Calm before the Storm" 1) spelling errors are a lot less, I assume this is due to your revised version. I realize your from Sweden and some dialog and grammer is very different in translation. So I over look this a lot. I feel having made such a huge effort using a second language to begin with is just awesome. 1) text was interesting and pretty good. The choices were very driven and few of them. 1) the story itself was very good. Imaginetive and creative stearing away from the same ole stuff. The NPC's hmmm, my henchman was kind of boring. The other NPC's had no true identities it seemed. I think they could have more personality and more depth. The atmosphere was a bit small scaled, however it worked in places. Lets talk about level 3. Ugg! Tedious to say the least. I think I got carpol tunnel from it. I do not want to give to much away. It would be a spoiler. (Hints and tips) Through out the main quest. I think it could have used more strategy and less direct pointing out the path. I think items and or areas could have been laid out a bit better. To give direction rather than always having little notes to point them out. I can understand where things like this can be taxing with time and methods for the masses to understand though. The ending. I've seen worse and better. It was ok. No real "wow" factor. The ending was also pretty predictable. I've started the next of the series. I'll vote on that when I'm done :) Thank you for your hard work. For a first mod, it was enjoyable. Erik!! NOOOOOO!! Game Stopper. Spoilers I'm on the 5th floor of the tower. I cleared out the zombies and skellies. I made my way around to the statue and I have no where else to go? The door going up is locked. I searched every remains, there are no chest to get into. HELP!!!! hehe So did I miss something? I even refered to the walk through which said the enterance is next to the statue? ermmm, there is nothing there but a statue. And it tells me to either leave or use it. Well I saw what's his name is still there and then nothing else. So I thought ok, maybe a secret door? nothing popped up even in detect mode. So I am at a stand still. I saved the game and closed it. pretty please help!! btw, I like the mod thus far. I'll tell you more of what I think when I vote :) Regards Liso _________________________ Michele O'Sullivan Ossian Forum Admin Link Liso NWNPodcast Staff Link

overall a fun module, few minor areas that were repetive. Good module for a first try. going to try the next chap as well.

Flawed but solid for first mod. Combat is too easy (played level 1 paladin). I like exp. statues though; great idea for light, hack & slash mod. But maze level is utter rubbish. That attrocity cannot be forgiven even for begginer mod. Fortunately it is just one area. Rest is decent enough.
