You should use the character 'Unknown' which was exported when you finished Chapter One. If you haven't already played Chapter One, please do so! Chapter Two won't make much sense otherwise, and you'll ruin the ending of Chapter One for yourself...

Description
It all began on a stormy summer's night. Left for dead by orc raiders amongst the ruins of a farm, you awoke to find yourself afflicted by amnesia, your life before that fateful night a blank.
Now you must travel north to the frontier, searching for the guard patrol that rescued you. Finding them is easier said than done though - orcs aren't the only threat in the borderlands, and not everything is as it seems...
To install the module, unzip it into your NWN folder with 'use folder names' or the equivalent option enabled. You should end up with the module and readme file in your modules folder and the module's hak pack in the hak directory.
Lord of Blight 2 is one of the best short mods I?ve played. My biggest complaint about the first LoB was that there didn?t seem like there was all that much to do and really was no where to go. Sure, you could explore the town, and there were a few fetch-type quests that you could do, and there were terrific cutscenes, but beyond that it was pretty bland until the end of that module. LoB2, on the other hand, is intense from start to finish. The story of LoB1 ended with a huge cliffhanger. You had lost your memory in an orc raid, and the only people that thought they could help you were killed in a very strange and horrible accident. Now you?re on the road to try to find your home, and hopefully recover some memories in the process. You are accompanied by the lone remaining healer, Sara, from the temple. Finding your way to the fort on the edge of the frontier was no easy task, however. Ultimately, you?ll get yourself involved in a several side quests before you finally find the patrol who rescued you, and who can lead you to your homeland. The best part is that you have a lot of choices available to you, and your choices do seem to affect gamplay. My general playstyle is that of a chaotic good or neutral good individual, but if you want to be more devious, you certainly have opportunities to do so. When I finish this series, I may end up going back and playing through it again as a chaotic neutral type, just to see what other options there are. For example, I found a trapdoor that I was never able to access. I have a feeling it was associated with quests of a more devious nature, and it would be fun to try it out. There are also some really well done moral dilemmas that will make it difficult to decide what the ?right? course of action would be. My favorite involves a conflict that is strikingly similar to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict of real life. This module is the epitome of the benefits of creating a nice, short module. The story is focused and interesting, even though it doesn?t really advance until the very end. Most NPC?s are nicely fleshed out. The author chose to use screen captures of the NPC?s 3D models as their portraits, and I really liked the effect. Often the portraits used in other mods have little to do with the ingame appearance of the characters. I found this decision to be a nice change of pace. Dialog is very well written, and the author uses Witches? Wake-style dialog options (e.g. [ask who he is] or [believe him]) much more effectively than in the previous module. Area design is focused, creative, and makes good use of space ? nothing feels cramped, but everything is close enough that you never have to spend any real amount of time backtracking. And *everything* is very well polished. The scripting is very thorough. This is most notably seen in the cutscenes, but you?d be hard pressed to find a bug in this module. It?s just very smooth and an absolute pleasure to play. And while I don?t want to give anything away, the end sequence is just awesome. Combat is fairly minimal. In fact, as far as I can remember, I only fought one creature for most of the mod. I didn?t miss it though. I was accomplishing things, saving lives, etc, the whole time. This makes your henchperson more of a companion than a fighting lackey, and she does chime in from time to time in your conversations. I have only two minor suggestions for improvement. First, the second to last cutscene while we were talking towards the camp was very jerky as the camera couldn?t seem to decide where to locate itself. Second, if I opt to wait until morning before knocking on the mayor?s door, it would be nice to just advance time to 8am. Even getting a room in the inn didn?t elapse enough time to enter during business hours, so I had to do a quick jaunt to the forest and back. This module was a lot of fun. The story is getting very deep, and there are lots of interesting side quests to keep me interested. Best of all, it?s very possible to play the whole thing in one sitting ? it took me about 2.5 hours over two sittings. That?s a very satisfying way to spend your time! Looking forward to the finale. -B
yeah, this looks nice and all, but the one thing I like about NWN's player mods is that they are normally smmall and easy to download, (Like the first one of this series). I could get three other mods in the time for this one. I'm going to download it anyway, BTW.

Played the second part with as much pleasure as the first :) And give "9,75" too. The scripts work perfectly, no problem with the clues and all the cut-scenes. Just not enough alignment shifts to my taste but it's not so important. I saw a little problem with Sara : she refuses a sling while she is able to use it. And you give her the Feat for Martial Weapons. And she misses one (for being human ;) ). The end is cruel :x but magnificiently done. I find that the kills give too many XP (specially in the end... no spoilers). The quests give enough XP, I am 5th Ranger there. I will soon play the third part :) Congratulations...

Thanks, glad you're enjoying it. ** SPOILER ** If you're at the right tree (it's the big one south of the ruins, just next to the road, with a mushroom hanging off it) a quick cutscene should trigger when you get close enough to it, showing you walking up to the mushroom and reaching under it to find the next clue. If that doesn't trigger for some reason, let me know and I'll take a look at it to make sure it hasn't broken...

not sure if I am an idiot or this is a bug but... spoiler... on the treasure hunt, I have found the 2nd clue, which seems to direct me to the area around the big tree, but nothing I click around there has any effect, and I can't figure out wheterh I am missing something or whether the tree/ruin/fountain/mushroom was supposed to do something it isn't doing. Otherwise, I am enjoying the heck out of this series and looking forward to the next part.
