@Mirgalen
also, how'd your paladin die? she doesn't even travel with you at any point before the last sprint out of the graveyard! everything between the final fight and the end of the mod is entirely too easy for her to take on her own(as a mage I had to let her handle things). if you and her are having trouble with those what? 4 fights? Which is highly unlikely btw, just run around and instruct her to follow instead. something is certainly fishy with your install. _________________________ jml's list of community addons/overrides, etc. Link
my thoughts: it could stand to be longer. I'd probably put a ranged weapon in the wagon, and maybe leather armor rather then scalemail/chain shirt(skill check -s). yes you want a good AC for some of the fights, and the ettercap(it hits hard)in the barracks and flesh golem(it hits hard too!) in the mage academy, but you also want the option to sneak around too(those zombies hit hard three!). the final boss didn't have that final boss difficulty. the zombies themselves are harder IMO. the music was cool though.
@Mirgalen
sounds like a permissions/driver issue, not a problem with the mod itself. I've played through three times, and haven't had it crash once. no special setups either(and my override folder is far from "clean" as well). I've died a bunch of times though ;) _________________________ jml's list of community addons/overrides, etc. Link

I update my vote based on the following:
1. Save/reload may crash to desktop. The only workaround is to load the module on a server and let it run.
2. My character survived but the other girl died (ouch) so I could not see the end. I found that a bit lame as I did not see anywhere that the PC is required to babysit the paladin.
3. I tend to agree with the revue, this module is interesting and creative but it is not a great one, just above average IMHO.
5-6: A good effort that fans of the style will find worth the download.

I played this a long time go. Trying the latest version (2.2) as Jill Valentine (fighter/Ranger). The trouble is I also got got the crash problem as soon as I find the survivor in the mansion. I will try to load the game on server and see how it goes (crossing fingers).

WHY WON'T THESE ZOMBIES DIE!!!!!!!!????????
The first horror module I ever played and the only one I'll ever play. Characters are well developed and made me want to hear more from them. I didn't like the fact that I went solo most of the mod, but traveling with a group kind of defeats the purpose of feeling that you have to run for your life.

I loved it! Was really good, Now I'm shivering, just for part two! I don't scare easily, since it was your intention for a good story and a scare, but still, I loved it! I hope you make a part three, or even a four! I'll be on the look out for other modules you make. _________________________ I don't need a signature, I'm that cool.

*bad english alert*
Nice module but contains some bugs. I didn't finish this module because after i reach the room near the main boss and collect all the stuff from container in the middle of the room my game starts to crush when i trying to save it, and of course it destroys my saved games every time. Nothing helps. There is also some journal error - something about henchman.
I give this 7 because module itself pretty entertaining even spooky sometimes. Im not sure that im going to play sequel though.

Downloaded and was rather enjoying it and tyhen had to sleep. Could not reload. Cant be bothered to go through it all again without the option to save. Deleted. Fed up with downloading unfinishable modules, this is the seventh time out of ten downloads, and I am fully up to date with all CEP addons and have a pretty fast machine.

Very cool mod. I don't normally like (or even play) horror mods, but this one was fairly fun, nerve wracking at times (many) and I had to learn to adjust my play style. Running away is seldom an option for a ranger with undead as her favored enemy! But, run I did!
Nice visuals, the sounds were creepy, and I really liked my companions. _________________________ Well...who would have thought THAT would happen?

Started at about 10:20...now 12:20. It was pretty cool, wish u didnt add that walkthrough (I cant resist guides lol) I used the boots that give the green light efect, made it more errie than using a torch :D Got a little creeped out in some places, especially the sewers, they almost got me trapped in a room as I was grabbing the hammer :D Great atmosphere and great "ravenous zombie scripts" or w/e they were called in the credits at end 9/10...keep up the good work :D

Okay I managed to play the whole first module without saving (and cheating to be sure not to die lol) and fortunately the second module saved normally. Thanks again for this great module =)

Characters are a bit weird at times. I mean, a paladin playing damsel in distress isn't very convincing, especially in front of my halfling thief lol. Jina and Frogrin droppin me like an old sock at the end was something I still don't get. I also have to say, I hate it when the author tells me how my character feels, that's mine to decide! Apart from that, very well done module, some horrificalicious moments, I'm impressed! All in all a very nice module, which I played some time ago and decided to play again - I loved Frogrin so much he made me wanna play my first halfling ever! But oh no I'm victim of the save crash bug when I get to Loma. I tried shorcut save and menu save, I tried to play through the whole of Loma and back to Jina, I emptied both my hak and override folders, to no use. I'm so very disappointed, I really wanted to play this again *sigh*

Very nicely done. I don't like running from enemies, but that's just a personal preference for me and since I was warned up front it's all good. The henchies weren't the best, but after playing part 2 I see that you improved upon them A LOT so great work there.
Overall this was a really fun series! Thanks for all of the hard work! :) _________________________ The less you know, the more you believe.

This is a really great prelude to the sequel, I really found it unnerving...
I really enjoyed the music chosen for boss fights, with heavy metal guitars and the like -- it was a really unique module...
Solid 10/10... _________________________ Fear of the unknown, creates a fear for the flesh...

I've also enjoyed the story too. Btw I got very curious and I opened up your music and I noticed you had these werewolf music things that were never present in the game.
Was this a outtake of some sort? _________________________ Life is but a Dream.

I feel very bad for not voting yet and yet I voted for SH2 lol. Heres a 10 for a job well done.
What I enjoyed with this one(like SH2) I got that tense feeling which I rarely get from some NWN mods on here. The use of sounds, music, and creatures were well thought out and kept me into the game and knowing I wasn't invincible this time around until way later in the game when you got to fight back.

I played this two more times over.
I beat it again, but this time I actually managed to find all the hidden items and open a secret chest.
I must say that a certain book would have been nice to have been placed somewhere where it could have aided to the plot rather than being an extra, The things in the chest was nice. I liked that it wasn't anywhere along the lines of a cheat.
I have noticed that Nathan's hood, should you acquire it, will not work outside the module... shame. Nonetheless you dd a good job, and after rethinking everything, and actually accomplishing every tiny bit of the module, I'm willing to improve my vote by an entire .5, thus making it from a 6.5 to a 7.
I am eager to play the next part now, as I will likely enjoy it. _________________________ @===============================================@
Vinchenzo made a post here.
Plz check out my entries. I'm currently making a few simple modules, designing 3 special characters, and hope to someday be good this stuff.
This is Vinchenzo, finishing his post with the following advice:
Don't use Latin improperly (Lupis means grey, Rufus is red, Canid is dog, so on.) Furries annoy me with their improper usage of such. And I'm a furry!!! Ugh...
Don't vote for Beta things unless told they are finished, unless posted specifically by the author.
Don't abuse the vote and post function, don't vote for your own/friends stuff just to get a high vote. Don't flame vote either just to be an ass.
There is a voting system for how the points are used, even I forget, but we should follow it (and tattoo it to our forehead, lol)

A lot of thought went into this... I can tell.
I loved the atmosphere... the music was a nice touch, really added to it. I am a big fan of Resident Evil, Doom, and Silent Hill... Loved the respective movies too.
The whole thing was like a D&D style interactive movie! It was as much fun as my favorite survival horror games.
Absolutely loved this =)
The ONLY flaw, and I do mean only, was some common spelling mistakes and a couple of grammer issues, but it in now way took away from the experience!

The module seemed absurdedly hard at the beginning when you had to progress to the shack, afterward it became extremely easy throughout the whole entire mod. It appeared that I could find every special item hidden, every easter egg, and my companion was indestructible making it pointless to evade combat, you could actually fight any enemy you want and gain good exp.
The various scattered placeables and sound effects was wonderful idea, but I must say I made the weakest warrior imaginable with pathetic combat abilities so this mod could actually be enjoyed.
I was so disappointed, but I must remember you put alot of work in this and that almost all modules that start a series are not as good as the later ones or the entire series in whole.
My suggestions:
Add a few civilians around the city that aren't dead and are under attack, since the enemies can be defeated its possible for maybe one of five if placed could be saved, and make it a small exp bonus.
Make it so that the enemies are slightly more spread out instead of bunched up into groups that could easily be avoided.
Make some of the buildings enterable, or at least put an object in front which allows you to examine the carnage inside. _________________________ @===============================================@

Wow - that's like one of the best comments a horror author like man can ever hear! :D Glad I managed to make you so tense! ;) Sorry to hear you won't complete it though but I thank you for voting even though you hadn't finished it! :D
Hmm ... well you know, you could actually try playing it with a higher-level character. Maybe that way you'd be able to finish it? And part 2 is pretty creepy too ... but I'd love to hear what you'd think of it.
