I must say that playing in Azuria all alone is quite boring. However get a few friends together (maybe even make one a DM) and start exploring and you will be stuck for hours.
I started playing on Azuria almost a year ago and from the moment I went on and met the first other player (Melindor btw) I was stuck. Sure it was really boring to be alone, that's why it is a multiplayer PW module and not a single player module.
I don't even know how half that module looks after 10 months of pretty intense playing, there are lots of caves I never visited or only visited once, there is even a city I haven't even been to.
My suggestion for you is: Get some friends together and play for an extended period of time, trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Well..I think this mod is pretty good..it has it's flaws as every mod does but there are hundreds of much worster mods out there..so keep playing and stop whining..you will find action when you go try out..what? I'm not telling ya and spoiling your fun ; )

hmm you really dont have any clue what you are talking about i have played on this module for over a year. sure there are not many static quests but thats not about it cus its the players that play the world that makes the game not static quests. And the dms on the world. not f*cking static quests that are boring. So you really cant say that you have played the module of Azuria if you havnt played it with more players. And 1-5 lvls?...hm...then havnt you explored the world enough when it was online and active we had players with 30+ lvls. so its absolutly possible to get to high lvls if you put some soul and time in to it....

Aredhel371, maybe you spent very little time trying out the mod? I have played a lot in it and in my opinion it is one of the best PW modules I've ever played!
And as In the Shadow says, characters are saved every 10 minutes so there is no need for manual saving.
Have you ever been to places like Hrefnagûr? I can assure you a lvl 1-5 character wouldn't last long there!

Well, sorry that you didn't like it heh...as for your three points:
1. When I added the module I did chose the "Multiplayer" option...dont know why it doesnt show up though. And there are not many NPC-quests which is why an occcasional DM is needed. But being a persistent world doesn't mean there are tons of quests, it just means it's made for consistency.
2. You have only been to the low level areas then. I was running the module for almost a year and believe me, the players sure could get up to high level. There are plenty of monsters to kill for every level if you look.
3. I have never enev tried to save the game, since there are scripts in place that saves each separate character every ten minutes. No need for anyone to use the save-game function at all.
Sorry that you didn't like it, but I have had plenty of good response on it anyway :)
Sorry to say - but this is possibly one of the worst mods I ever started.
1. Although supposed to be kind of a persistent world, it says (only) "Occasional DM Needed". No word about being a dedicated MP mod probably. Actually one is running thru area after area with nearly no event, with nothing in it. (The landscape isn't bad I admit, but..)
Tries to talk to some of the sparse NPCs or creatures have no effect: no script, no dialogue, nothing.
2. Furthermore the description says "Level of Players Any to Any". Isn't true either. If there are any, the creatures fit for heros from Lvl 1 to 5, I think.
3. Last but worst: although this mod's volume isn't larger than 25 MB (in this equalling some "really heavy" mods), the Savegame of it sums up to 2 500 MB = 2.5 GB !! When trying to reload it my PC says "Not enough disk space.." (or something like this). Imagine - 2.5 GB for nearly EMPTY areas!!! After having only one real dialogue (getting a "quest" impossible to solve..)
Perhaps I'm missing something really important (?), but taking the last point alone is reason enough for me to warn everybody out there! _________________________ Aka Gront0307 - because of a second adress..;-)
