Description
Pure Hack n Slash Fun. THE ULTIMATE MODULE for LAN GAMES. Generates a NEW DUNGEON EVERY ADVENTURE. Easily 10 times better than DSB. Mix & match 20 MONSTER RACES with 11 DUNGEON THEMES & play straight for 20+ hours without even scratching the surface. WARNING: This is not a brainless module these monsters are tough & spawn in effective logical combinations. You will have to analyse threat levels, push every advantage & use every class. Take on a BOSS MONSTER without buffing? Youre dead its that simple. Its worth the risk: Loot Chests spawn magic runes that can be used to enhance your equipment to incredible levels. Just be warned the monsters equipment is enhanced too. Features the unique DS equipment crafting, trap & encounter systems. Totally tuneable through one script. Change XP rates, loot generation, global monster toughness, monster animations and more to suit your needs & your system. Fully supports all new races & areas created using DSMAB.

I was working on a pseudo-random dungeon spawner on the PW I run when my brother (one of my players) turned me on to this mod. It took me a few days but I managed to, pretty seamlessly, add this to the existing world.
I have a couple of questions:
1) Is this alrigth with you? It's a private, password protected server and full credit is given to you but I want to make sure you're ok with us using your content in this way.
2) Concerning the up-coming new version. Since I already have an operating PW how hard would this new version be to integrate? Is it close enough that I should hold off integrating the current DS build?
3) If I do integrate the current DS mod how hard would it be to update to the new version when it comes out?
Anyway, great mod!

OK Sorry for the stupid question, I admit it :)
But what should I do with the .MOD file? :(

Yes i agree abit rough. After 3 trips with a rogue once vs a big construct guy once against elves and once against goblins the only group i had a chance against was the elves (always set the dung at easy) the first 2 groups didnt miss me once even though there challenge was green to me... i did the same thing with a cleric fully enchanted with 4 different buffs. 3 rouds both me and my pet dead.. unless i play vs goblins. im definately going to have to implement some henchman to make this playable or should i just wack goblins till i can move up to other huminoids? deleveling the after you get whiped on the first fight is harsh after spending 15 mins developing your levels.

DreadEmperor - you aint seen nothing yet! Dungeon Spawner 2: Interactive World is currently under development. Expect to see a Demo version out in 2-3 weeks.
Demo Features:
17 settlements (possible to enter every building) + surrounding landscape to expore.
10+ dungeons hidden in the landscape.
Dungeon Spawner Arena as detailed in my last post.
Possible to have an intelligent conversation with almost any NPC.
plenty more to come but theres no way it'll make the demo...

I just stumbled on this little gem. Outstanding work. One question - can this be integrsted into a PW or another module easily? I'm looking to develop a campiagn using a lot of random generators and arena challenges.

is this the only way to get a vote?

thanks Noname. It's interesting to see someone other than me still visit this page. DS is still under development. The update is almost done (I've got about 3 hrs of boring stuff to do to complete it) However it has been at that stage for over two weeks now. Without comments from the internet community I've been focusing on what my alpha testers want. Expect to see (DSA) Dungeon Spawner Arena soon - its a spin off DSMAB enabling you to bet on a knock out competition between 8 DS moster races.
All posts revive interest in Dungeon Spawner
All ideas will be attempted - if I like them =)

After reading what is coming up for the next release of Dungeon Spawner, I have to post. I'd love to see exactly what you said would be in the next release, and more.

TheCrazyButler thanks for your post! Due to a lack of votes and posts, I havent put in any work into DS yet this year. A little sad since the new merchant system was 70% developed before I lost interest.
Just a couple of features I have working that I havent shared yet:
Guild shops selling an unlimited range of armour styles generated in a logical fashion.
Armour that changes appearance based on gloves & boots equipped.
If you want the update to be completed post comments all feedback & ideas welcome.
Anyone wanting Dungeon Spawner 2: Interactive World to be developed? You must vote for DS LAN.
I estimate it will take me 60 hours to get DS2:IW working as a basic beta version.
Ideas under consideration for DS2:IW:
Randomly generated (yet logical) world generated on demand.
30? Dungeons scattered throughout the landscape at any one time.
Monster races that attack each other in wars to take the dungeons.
Possibilities to choose to ally with one monster group while attacking another.
A stock market with prices fluctuating based on guild performance & monster strength.
Quest generator generating 1 quest every 5 minutes per player currently in the world.
Lots more But without votes (or offers to join the project) its not going to happen, so why list them

Whoa man...this is some serious quality work...I wish I could make stuff like this but I'm a little inept at all things computerwise so I'll leave it at that...i'm gonna spread the word about this one...keep on making it better...i'm even a fan of the merchant system...its these little loopholes that make it fun.
Crazy man out.!!!!

Nabutiger: I'm not happy with the merchants either! Was going to change, but didn't have time before the LAN release. Give me a week or two, I'm redoing the entire merchant system from the ground up to give each guild a unique feel.

Woa ! Your module rocks ! In solo, it is hard but it is fun.
And in multiplayer this module is really the best hack'n slash module, it becomes fun and challenging. It's very great to test the builds of the prc.
But i think the system with the merchants is not yet perfect...i haven't solution..maybe more stuff.
Congratulations^^
