Description
After your 83rd near-death experience, you decided to take a break from adventuring for a while. For some time now you have whiled away the days at a comfortable home far from drunken dwarves, dreadful dragons, dank dungeons, and various other deadly things starting with the letter d.
Is someone knocking at your door?
Wendels Woes was originally designed as a concise example of my work, but I am releasing it publicly as a Christmas treat for 2004.

Short, but nice. _________________________ Thanks Rolo:)

Nice short and sweet module. Would like to see more. I enjoyed the final fight.

Good. Last fight is interesting.

Very nice Mod, although it is a bit too short. But it is fun, well written and bug free... well done!
How about something bigger? The Vethboro Dragon was great, but it was also short...

Very enjoyable mod, not too short nice little details. Good for some quick fun.

This was an entertaining, if very short module. The final battle was a nice break from the norm, and what the dialogue, which I'd have liked to have seen more of, was well-written.

Though I have not played the "final" release of this mod, knowing Jason's exacting nature tells me that it could only have gotten better since I playtested it. It's short, excting and at times very funny. Well crafted, with innovative use of the toolset and really great scripting sequences, both casual players (beer and pretzels anyone?) and veteran NWN builders will enjoy playing this mod. _________________________ -Antonymous

FYI this module appears to work fine with PRC 2.3a15 added. Nothing was overwritten on install, though it did need to create a merge hak. The only "bug" I noticed was that the berries would cast Cure Light Wounds, but no health was given. Perhaps the PRC interfered with that function, or something else in my setup did (like patch 1.66).
As a demonstration of the kind of work you can do, Jason, this module is excellent ... though I expected no less after The Vethboro Dragon. My only disappointment is that this module is so short and I *really* want you to write another full-length module. :)
Thank you for creating Wendel's Woes and allowing the rest of us to enjoy it. Best of luck on your future endeavors.

Hard to beat for such a short module. Rock-solid design and implementation; interesting scenery; challenging but not silly-hard fights if you use your head and what you're given. The only downside is the lack of story and character choices due to the shortness of the mod.

8 area: 2 in your house, one is just an optional room. Still the design is good and enjoyable. _________________________ The hottest new modules you can't miss - player suggested

Nice design and good fights but really too short, so much that it feels pointless. Still for a 7 area mod it's some sort of an achievement. _________________________ The hottest new modules you can't miss - player suggested

A very well-made mod, if quite short. There's beauty in simplicity, and this is a tight, well constructed story. A great "transition" mod between larger story-lines for your character.

I really like this module. It has great personality to it and loved the visuals and neat design tricks used to tell a story rather than a bunch of text telling you what the story is. The little scenes are interesting and attention grabbing.
A shame it isn't multiplayer, but I think with a little tweaking by an enterprising DM, he or she could make it MP. The same DM could add DMFI and make it a short but sweet enjoyable one-shot mod or campaign interlude as someone said.
Nice Christmas present!

a small (tiny) mod with a great feel, real character to it, some very nifty scripting- the burner demons were great- can't recommend it enough.

I'm with gnomad on this- short but sweet, small and perfectly formed, a very satisfying hour of play! Cheers!
