Richterm's Retreat's Classic Nordock, pretty much as hosted on RR Servers, updated to 1.65 with considerable new content, fixes, improvements over the last Public Release. perhaps an include of the new RR loot tables in this pR should be included in this release since pub.170 included the nwtreasure program as well as the loot table.xml file you needed to edit the loot tables for the module, something like this needs to be added to this package as well would make editing the loot tables much simpler as right now there is no way to import teh current ones into nwtreasure and then edit them you have to use the old pub 1.70 loot tables in nwtreasure and edit them and then export and add to the mod to change the loot tables.


so perhaps the rr.xml file for the current release should be included in the release package or posted for DL somewhere.

I love this module, and I'm very happy this new release was put out. I have a couple quick questions though.

It seems that some of the variables for HCR don't work in the hc_defaults script because code was changed elsewhere, and if I could get some advice I'd greatly appreciate it.

1. LIMITEDRESTHEAL = 0; Should be allowing my characters to fully heal during rest, but it looks like this variable is being ignored completely. I just modified the rest code and commented out the part that removes the hp after rest, so I can live with this solution, no biggie.

2. Level loss. PNONDEATH is the variable I think, I have it set to zero which should prevent the loss of a level after death/ressurection, but this seems be be ignored as well. I'm a bit of a script newb and have no idea how to manually fix this one. So any help on this would be great.

Other than those 2 confusions on my part the module works great and everyon loves it.

hunger thirst/fatigue isnt in this version of Nordock check out horreds nordock plagued version thats the one your looking for

hmm ats problem... i had a similar issue and it ended up being a corrupted version of the nwnx odbc connector i got the correct one and that solved it.. also that might be part of your bleeding problem as well, and as for the person that asked bout this being used without nwnx2/mysql as far as i know it should be possible just reenable tokens in your nordock.2da

Update since yesterday.

I figured out that the HCR were disabled because of a script I implemented in order to get the database working(onmoduleload) according to the NWNx guide. This time I left the original HCR script in place (which I think is the correct solution).
Now I think the NWNX/MySQL db connection is working. However, I still can't get ATS to work (I still get no point when training).
Oh yeah.... And still no bleeding :-)

Any help on the above would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chris

After finally getting the MySQL/NWNX2 db connection working (I think - at least a training well suddenly appeared infront of the temple of life), I still can't get the tradeskills working, and appearently none of the HCR functions are now available.
I think this means, that everything might work now, if I can just figure out how to enable HCR again :-)
Someone please guide a script moron through this....

For the bleeding problem, I don't know off the top of my head. I'll try and take a look into it asap.

For the ATS, that sounds as if you don't have a working MySQL/NWNX2 db connection.

First off just want to say awsome mod, love it. but i to have the same problem of the bleeding system not working so when i die i just kinda hang out on the ground, lol.
i know how to change stuff in the toolset but have no idea where to find the bleeding code to change it.

I have tried to run this module as a PW with some friends.
However I have two questions:
1) ATS doesn't seem to work/or be enabled. - You get no points when recieving basic training.
2) Bleeding is not enabled, as such ppl dont die unless they get knocked down below -10 HP.
As I am a complete script moron, can someone tell me how I turn on these two options. If its just a case of changing two values from TRUE to FALSE or the other way around, I just need to know which scripts handles these two areas, and how to find them in the toolset.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

Makzimia, maybe... :) (Time contraints and all that)

There are three separate sets of scripts in the module:
- gs_inc_tracking (maintaining online player lists)
- eventlog (logging module & character events)
- qel_inc_ban (checking for banned players)
those scripts are accessed (included) in lots of places, especially eventlog.

BTW (& FYI), Marc (Richterm) is no longer involved to any great degree, although he still deserves credit as its still essentially the module whose creation he presided over.
