(1.08 SoU & HoU) This module is the first module concerning Shaddowe (PC included in the zip) a first level rogue. It includes some 97 locations to explore and 36 possible quests, though the completion of some quests will interfere with some quests or cause others to be inaccessible. The module comes with a detailed walkthrough, though I recommend you only use it as a last resort, or following completion of the module to see if you missed anything. Important Note: this module is a rogue class module. Bonuses are awarded for the use of stealth rather than resorting to kills. I do not expect players to be able to get perfect stealth bonuses in all areas, there would be no challenge in that, but there are none lethal ways of escaping combat. It is not a hack and slash module (though there are occasional combat orientated areas), and the pace is meant to be slow. If you do not like this type of module, you have been warned
** Potential Spoilers ** I really enjoyed playing a module that was designed for a thief, but I have to agree with superlgn on the minor things that bothered him. Those same things bothered me except for the stealth requirement in the city. That was only so-so. It just took too long to get some places, but having the sewer transport system and the one secret door between the LES and the Suburbs helped.

This is one of the best mods I've played on the vault and what can you expect - it's Thief with nwn's engine combined with a great plot and nearly flawless finishing. And the manuals..wow.

Good story, almost no bugs, very little backtracking, quests come in gradually (no piling on), great documentation. I only looked to the walkthrough a few times, just to make sure I wasn't doing something horribly wrong. Some minor things that bothered me were the forced character, tiny alleys, and the stealth requirement in the city. I didn't see that much in the dialog/plot that couldn't have been adjusted to allow for a female PC. The tiny alleys were somewhat annoying, if you click far enough ahead, your character sometimes wants to turn around and take the long way. The constant stealth in the city is understandable and although these areas aren't huge, it gets a bit tedious after a while. Overall a very solid mod, something truly deserving of a 9+ rating. I look forward to additional installments. _________________________ Stop by the A Dance with Rogues wiki: Link

Awesome job. Can't wait for the sequel...well, ok I guess I HAVE to wait don't I? I sent an email about the only things I thought could have used improvement. I don't want to give away any freebies here. :P Hint people: There's something you can buy to make your life MUCH easier!

Just finished. Excellent work. Few minor points - the up transition into the prison area from the sewers didn't work. - the ship captain of the poppy smugglers wasn't attacked by the spiders - I found a deck of hazard (random?) and was slightly annoyed not to get any XP from killing an ancient blue dragon. ;-)

Nope - must have just been a glitch.

Darn posts that don't show up. :-/ Anyway on a more serious note the game crashed when I was walking through the "body disposal and its problems" area. I'm just going to see if it is repeatable.

BTW Taliesin_ttlg, you are one of the "FAN" module writers that do a better job telling a story than Bioware.
