Strife in Grimbone The aid of worthy adventurers has been sought by Baron Truestone in investigating reports of supernatural activities in the outlying settlement of Grimbone. This apparently simple mission thrusts the players into a complex and dangerous adventure where events of the distant past have led to a present of danger, intrigue and supernatural terror. This new version optimises for HOTU and CEP and includes many other enhancements as well as changes and corrections suggested by J'Dai (module reviewer) and others who kindly posted comments on the download site. The module is ideal for a small party of novice PCs. NB: Requires Strife in Grimbone Hak
Great mod! The forest parts are cleverly designed and allow the gamer to feel *lost*, something very difficult for any game with a good map. But it never gets boring as many such attempts do, due to the lack of an understandable way to get out of the place. The story is good and there are some nice moments.

I really loved the mod and will play a 2nd time. Never got to meet up with the Vampyre Master a 2nd time though :( It would have been nice for single players to have a character leveller in the beginning to get us up to lvl 5.. but otherwise no complaints and lots of enjoyment. Thank you

I agree with MorgTzu about John McA's dedication and quality of work, plus the fact that no mod is perfect.

I'll update to 1.66 and CEP 1.52 and so remove the requirement for the femaleheads hak.

Help. I've downloaded everything I thought I was supposed to but keep getting stopped by a "missing hak" message; log says missing hak is "female heads." I wasn't sure what to do with all the .jpg files in the game .zip either, and there's nothing about them in the readme. OK to reply offline to caros@aros.net. Thanks!
