DMFI 101 entertainingly demonstrates step-by-step how to use the basic functions of the DM client and exposes DMs to common uses of the DMFI wand and widget set. After completing this module, a DM should have all the skills necessary to successfully run a multiplayer NWN session. Adventure areas are also included in the module where DMs can create a mini-adventure for players. The included DM Guide contains a list of recommended resources and starter modules for new DMs. A Quick and Dirty Multiplayer Roleplay reference is also included for those new to multiplayer NWN. Brought to you by the DM-Friendly Initiative (DMFI)
Thanks for pointing that out, the home page has now been updated with links to both NWN and NWN2 resources.
On a related note, the DMFI is glad to see that DMFI 101 is still being downloaded and used by NWN DMs.

Very nice basic introduction to the DMFI package... seems like there's a lot left out, but it's a great start with some very nice touches.

I have been impressed with the DMFI from a DM's point of view for some time. I have used this module to teach myself and since then have used it as a part of a training system to teach and/or refresh DMs working with me.

Wonderfull introduction to DM client. Very funny too. Maybe you could make another tutorial to teach more advanced options? Oh, I polymorphed myself to penguin too, but you can just use heal comand to turn it back.

No comment needed...It's a fantastic intro and tutorial for new NWN DMs. It does what it's supposed too and it does it well. Good job Carlo. _________________________ "When I have to make a decision between two evils, I always pick the one I haven't tried before."

Very good. I didn't know too much about DM'ing, but now I feel I can start mastering my own adventures!

Very useful module. I'm really looking forward to a DMFI 201. As it is, DMFI 101 gives some preliminary technical training for newbie DMs, which saves me a lot of time, considering the amount of DMs on my server.

Nice work. I would like to see a more advanced part 2, if you have one handy!

Awesome mod! I took the course from NW Connections, and it greatly improved my ability to use the DM Client, and the immersion for my players increased because of that. _________________________ It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning, it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.

Why 10?
The is no other "module" like this one so far so it is unique.
For the players there is the prelude now there is something for DMs too.
More players will want to be behind the DM screen and that's a good thing.

Great mod Carlo, I even learned something new, and I've been DMing for a long time using the DM Client.
