any, but not nearly as focused on alignment as Stormy Night

Description
[SoU+HotU+1.69] 'Two months after your strange experiences in the mansion, you arrive at your destination at last: the city of Narcopolis.' Although this is the sequel to my module 'Stormy Night': Link it is not required to play this one. A strange, single-player experience for any class and alignment, levels 15-20.
Not all in a row... been playing the three of them off and on for a while now, alternating between these, The two Angel Falls mods and others here and there... Just getting around to actually finishing it all up and figured I should vote. I really enjoyed them... Especially that I could play them through several times. Its something great to do while the kids nap or a great way for me to stay awake when the youngest is having an all night teether =) _________________________ Stupidity kills people. This was a lot of fun... I noticed in this one as well as in Stormy Night that there were a lot of vauge (and not so vauge) shall we call them 'Easteregg References' and I loved it. It had an absolutely CREEPY atmosphere that I just loved. This was so much fun, and again it is replayable because of alignment and your actions in-game! Awesome! Now on to the Finale! _________________________ Stupidity kills people. Nothing Good comes from ignorance. Knowledge is power that is useless with out the wisdom to use it properly. I enjoyed this very much! I only got one secret and that was from bringing an item from the game stormy night into this one, or at least I think. In spite of this being very difficult, it was very enjoyable none-the-less. I can't wait to play the third module of this series. _________________________ @===============================================@ Vinchenzo made a post here. Plz check out my entries. I'm currently making a few simple modules, designing 3 special characters, and hope to someday be good this stuff. This is Vinchenzo, finishing his post with the following advice: Don't use Latin improperly (Lupis means grey, Rufus is red, Canid is dog, so on.) Furries annoy me with their improper usage of such. And I'm a furry!!! Ugh... Don't vote for Beta things unless told they are finished, unless posted specifically by the author. Don't abuse the vote and post function, don't vote for your own/friends stuff just to get a high vote. Don't flame vote either just to be an ass. There is a voting system for how the points are used, even I forget, but we should follow it (and tattoo it to our forehead, lol) @===============================================@

Played this in direct sequence with Stormy Night, and actually found this the better module (at least for me). Again, the artwork you created for new tilesets and creatures was great, and the module plot flowed a little more smoothly for me than Stormy Night. Once I pegged onto to the focus concept needed to deal with many of the original creatures, I found the logic easy to extend and follow for other quest paths. I did have to consult the walkthrough, primarily because several plot items didn't generate unless you had already encountered the appropriate creature and I had visited areas out of order. Again, an enjoyable module which can be easily fit into a weekend schedule. Thanks!

Thank you very much ColbyWolf! It's been years since I created this so let's see what I can remember...I believe the magnifier is just another way to 'Examine' things. *spoilers* I think the bonus ending(s) you reached unlocks the city gate. Did you try leaving the city? If Sable isn't dead but missing, she might be in the Opera House or the Frost Field. I believe the music sheets do something to the Twilight Whisper in the Dreamscape. Hope that was helpful!

Following up on my below post... ****SPOILERS**** Ending of game on replay mode So, as explained below, I seem to have interupted Sable's Revenge. I go and chat with the mayor--I explain sadly about the fact that sable's bent on revenge, and he askes me to get rid of her. But the mayor has company--some Province official or some such--He tells me something interesting about the town, tries to kill me, turns into a flock of spiders and leaves. Anyway, I can't find him, OR sable anywhere. So--scary game breaking bug. O_O Also: I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the snowman, find a purpose for them magnification crystal (unless I was supsoed to use it to melt him? Jsut thought of that, thought I doubt it..) Or a purpose for the melody I grabbed off of the piano. Maybe a 'secret ultra walk through' would be nice to explain out EVERYTHING to those of us who are perfectionists XD ****end spoilers!**** Also, a minor quibble: When I started stormy night, I used a character builder to make a level 15 character. I hd no clue what was in store for me, so I decided to play a rogue type, and focused on hiding and sneaking and stuff like that. On playthrough, I got kinda upset because EVERYTHING was immune to sneak attack or the Assasin's death attack or whatever it's called. So every fight took forever. I didn't realize the purpose of the morality helmet, so I built a new character to go through again. I built a fighter/dwarven defender/weapon master. He plowed through with ease. When I sat down the next day to play narcopolis, I figured I wouldn't 'need' to roll a new character, as he'd served me well through stormy night. Imagine my surprise when I found out that every NPC nearly had social options to pick from! Just a quibble. I don't expect you to do anything about it, but I just wanted to point at it. Anyway, This was an excellent game to start playing neverwinter with again. I'll be recommending these to my friends for ages to come :D

Excellent! I could echo some of the comments about character interaction and story flow, but They've been reiterated quite a bit already.. I'm a bit more concerned about a potential bug I've found... (writing it now... I'll reload and confirm it in a few... it's been a bit since I saved, you see...) ****SPOILERS WARNING**** So. I'm playing Lawful Good in replay mode. *pauses to let anyone who wants to stop reading without spoilers skip away* And I beat Sandman, and Father both. Yay. I go back into the church, down the the basement. the cutscene with Sable plays.... My cat leaps into my lap, onto the keyboard and somewhere in the flurry of furry limbs, the escape key--I'm guessing--is pressed. the cutscene ends. Here's the dialog as I got to see it.. Cutscene: Sable, "It doesn't matter anymore...." Cutscene: Player, "Oh?" *catattack* *clicks on sable* Sable: You did it! Everyone is awake! So... I'm not sure. If sable is suposed to react the same way she did in the first play through, this is obviously a rather big deviation, especially with her 'noble soul' this and that. Like I said, gonna go reload and defend my keyboard from catattacks, to make sure that this is a bug and that she's wasn't about the say something like "Because the whole city is awake and everything's groovy!" :P

I liked this mod as well. Again, I'm sorry I can't be more useful, but here's my vote anyway.
