After saving the royal city of Taron, and even the king himself, you find yourself isolated and nearly alone in a long-abandoned city. In the ruins, your enemy awaits--but where? This is chapter 5 of the Blaark Chronicles series, designed for a solo, 13th-level character of good or neutral alignment. Playing through the first four chapters is recommended to understand the plot lines.
I have all the totems you can get but I can't find the portal to the temple district (and the baddie), where the hell is it?

This module was kind of low on instructions: romp around until NPCs give you hints on what you're doing. On the other hand, it was aware of it - there was an NPC who'd tell me things I knew and I could comment that I already knew them. Funky. Just follow the flow, anyway. One typo: journal fragment has "the each of the nobles" (drop first the) and one bug: I ended up getting two totem spears: one from the dragon's corpse, one from behind it.

I have the South Gate Key but it doesn't work on any gate at all.

Unfortunately, I thought this was the worst of them all so far. I miss the fun and adventure from the first two, even though some of the battles their were over-the-top and required "divine knowledge" (save/reload) to really win. The battles here were monotonous, and easy, and even though I could choose my order, I felt like the STORY WAS LINEAR and too simple, without conflict. Does that make sense? MikeY.

Also, you allow us to powergame all the way through, but if you powergame when fighting Varquin, he doesn't respawn. Maybe you need 3 different Varquins when each one is defeated or make him invulnerable to critical hits (devistating critical is probably what did it.) _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them. TOO MANY BUGS IN THIS ONE: 1. If you tell the dragon with the bow you refuse his riddle challenge, he just tells you to have a nice day. Cannot restart the conversation and killing him outright without that conversation does NOT spawn the bow. I had to restart the entire module for this. 2. Not all the doors in the balor camp in center building in the first part of southern Vebren were openable. 3. There was no quick way out of where the dragon was in the water elemental cave; I had to walk all the way back. 4. Inventory didn't spawn... I had to save and reload several times so I could see the necessary objects in my inventory. 5. I searched everywhere and couldn't complete the cleric cache quest for the cleric. 6. The story had no plot to it. Everything was so individualized. I don't like that. Same feelings to part 3 of A Harper's Tale. 7. Therefore, this module was unnessesary. It just seems aquiring the totems could be tied into chapter 6 (though I have yet to play it.) 8. You should rework this module to fine tune all these bugs. 9. Sorry, but the file size of this module, like chapters 2, and 3, took me 3 times as long to complete due to all these bugs (specifically starting over again due to reason #1.) An utter waste of time. 10. Sorry, I cannot give you a high score for this one. I use NWN computer game to relax. This one only aggravated me due to all the errors in it. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them. Thanks, Steve

Does the black dragon supposed to spawn a totem? Because he didn't. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them. Thanks, Steve
