The roads you have travelled have not been easy, but their every twist and turn has done naught but to harden your resolve and sharpen your skills. Now, the road climbs eastward towards Heaven's Fist Pass, the Order of the First Three, and the last of the Eight. This module concludes the Book of Fallen Eight series, picking up where the second left off. It is a story-driven adventure, albeit with plenty of tough battles to fight. I recommend playing through the first two modules to familiarize yourself with the story, though I include a journal entry at the start which should bring newcomers up to speed. An optional intro movie is also available for download here at the NWVault. http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/movies/data/1039138177020.shtml.
I haven't played these mods yet, but based on the comments I will. I did want to follow up on bobhome's post, though. I wish I could say to ALL mod designers, "Skip the 'save or die' monsters! They are as annoying as sand in your ice cream!" Nothing brings enjoyment level down more than having to cheat in an otherwise good mod in order to get through a horde of water elementals, because unlike bobhome, I don't have the patience to re-load 12s of times. Anyway, that said, I'm looking forward to playing these mods.

Have played through the first two in the series solo and they were tough, but enjoyable. As others have said, they're a bit short, but the quality's generally there. However, I would like to mention this: in the beginning of this one, you have multiple enemies that can kill with their abilities as a water elemental. This is all well and good, but at lvl 8 as a fighter, even with high fort saves, DC20 is harsh. I'm tired of reloading dozens of times, for 100 xp per kill no less. I'm of the opinion that this one isn't really all that much of a group mod, because of how it starts. Could be wrong, but I won't be multi'ing in this one anytime soon. As I have said, I have enjoyed the mods up to this point, but this pushes my patience. And I don't know when I will feel up to killing the last few ice lord things. Good work previously, though.
