Any. Alignment has no real bearing on the story at this time.
Description
You have been hired to lead an expedition to the lost continent of Tolanus. After first establishing a stronghold in this savage land, you will begin your search for the legendary metal called blacksteel.
This was very good, I liked the set up in the beginning. Then how it carried through. thumbs up! _________________________ AKA: GuardianofLore. Interested in joining Rhydin's PW Staff? Come make your dreams, a reality.

My comments are for the trilogy collectively. It is difficult to write a campaign for a higher level character. By varying the style, tempo, and content of each, I believe the author has created a superior campaign. Other than a few idiosyncrasies caused by malfunctioning scripts, I can find no fault with this campaign over than a few, purely personal wishes as to content. And I suspect most of those will be addressed in Chapter 4 wherein, I assume, a new house will be established in the Baron's old homeland and perhaps even a touch of romance will be found (no romantic interest was the main personal lack I found for myself). I sincerely hope we will not have to wait much longer for it to be released.

Excellent story. No documentation. Merchant(s) may crash computer. I liked the use of voice set and the unique henchmen.

I guess I finished this one. I can't be sure because the journal is not updated at this stage. I agree with some comments below, at least one merchant will crash my computer. The story is very good and the henchmen really interesting. The game might be easy early on but I don't consider it an issue as it allows me to focus on the story. Yet some fights might be tedious due to the number of critters spawning. Overall I found only one really challenging area. Did I really finish the module? (see spolier below) Please let me know. * Spoilers * 1. Cleared the area near the camp 2. Found the Blacksteel Crown and Jinx 3. Destroyed Siege engines (need range weapon for the main one) and visited small cave 4. Explored the mountain and retrieved key 5. Opened the Dwarven gate and explored the small area including the sewer 6. Returned to Castle where "mechanical combat units" are spawning in courtyard and in basement of castle. Got no new conversations from NPC and cannot find the miners.

I'm having a problem with the gam crashing when I talk to merchants. It doesn't do it everytime, but enough to be annoying. Any idea for a fix? I like what I've seen of the module so far. Would love to play it without crashing. _________________________ A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week. George S. Patton

I gave up on this series as unplayable before finishing this first part. It's just too difficult and frustrating to navigate the world with the plot triggers and journal entries like they are. It's a shame, because I was intrigued by the story and the writing was respectable. I hope it's not really a final version, because with some touch-ups, this could be a great, innovative series. Otherwise, it's just not worth the frustration of running all over creation trying to figure out what you need to do to trigger the next step in the story.

Solid module, if a little linear.

So.. there are no journal entries for the Skull King quest and it does nothing for the plot, the enemies were too underpowered for the thirteenth level character I had when I reached Shazzerath to give him worthwhile exp, and there was no valuable treasure- does that mean I wasted my time? Or is the key for this dwarven place I haven't been to yet in Shazzerath somewhere? I guess you get a 20th bard demilich, even more useful than Jax :)
