Pretty Good Character Creator / Customizer (PGC3) powered by IGIPE is a tool for building, equipping, and combat-testing Player Characters (PCs). Its optimized for setting up "legit" characters to use in games where it's appropriate to start at levels other than 1. It also supports DM Friendly Initiative (DMFI) functionality.
Using PGC3, you can:
Add, change, or remove any valid property for any item using the In-Game Item Properties Editor (IGIPE) by hohos.
Set a PC to any level up to 40. Gold is automatically set for the level you chose per DMG guidelines.
Rebuild levels.
Adjust alignment, subrace, and deity.
Purchase equipment from a wide selection of items, including standard NWN items and many unique creations. (The CEP2 version also includes a separate CEP merchant.)
Load or remove DMFI PC items.
Remove Cursed (undroppable), Plot, or Stolen flags from items.
Customize your PCs appearance.
Test your PC's mettle in Arena and Playground areas.
Use the persistent Storage Chest to save and/or transfer items between PCs.
New for v4.4: Portraits! Hair/skin/tattoo colors! Tridents! Purple Dragon Knights!
Create your perfect character, be the envy of all your friends, get hot dates, and revel in your own glory. (Your mileage may vary.)
Requirements vary depending on which version you use. Although CEP2 is listed under the "Required Haks" section, there are separate hak-less and CEP2 versions available for download. Read the file descriptions carefully to make sure you're downloading the version that's right for you.
PGC3 v3.0 requires NWN v1.67 patch. NO HAKS REQUIRED. Do not use this version unless you are not upgrading to NWN v1.68 or higher patches which use Bioware's new cloaks! This older version of PGC3 does not include IGIPE and will not be updated or supported. The ZIP file contains the PGC3 v3.0 module plus a readme PDF.
PGC3 v4.3 CEP2 powered by IGIPE requires NWN v1.68 patch with the new cloaks. It also requires the following CEP2 haks: cep2_top_v1, cep2_add_phenos1, cep_add_phenos2, cep2_add_sb_v1, and cep2_core files #1 through 5.
The ZIP file contains the PGC3+IGIPE+CEP2 module plus the readme PDF.
I could not seem myself or my group ever playing NWN with out this. The players satisfaction that is gained by being able to create, customize and obtain a character that LOOKS and has exactly what you envisioned is invaluable. Truly a magnificent Module. Just amazing. Not to mention a player during the heat of battle chooses a wrong feat by mistake would normally be stuck with it. BUT being able to go into here really quickly and fix that selection has an immeasurable affect on a player and his energy for his\her character. Thanks is not enough, but THANKS and HUGE KUDOS Styxx

I still continue to be amazed and gratified by the comments this mod receives. I love you guys. I've been in touch with hohos. He's interested in doing an NWN 1.69 update for IGIPE. He's very busy with other things, though, so he's not sure when he'll get to playing with NWN1 again. Meanwhile, I've posted a v4.4 beta with some new features but using the current IGIPE. I thought it would be better to give you guys the new features to play with rather than have it sit unused on my hard drive. The plan is to finish a full v4.4 update and also publish a version for the latest CEP. One outstanding feature we discussed is taking advantage of the new scripts for editing item descriptions--something that's been on everyone's wish list for a long time. Blue skies...

Better than "pretty good!" Like Jedijax, I've gotten so used to using this, that I've forgotten that I use it. Many thanks you two!

You know, I have been using this for years, and yet didn't even notice I did... that's what happens when things are useful, you just tend to think they were always there. Still working, still useful, still unnoticed. A perfect ten for a module that works as it is meant to.

Thanks, this is extremely useful for transferring characters between modules, or for just trying out ideas.
