Description
Faithfully follows the model of Diablo One, the classic dungeon slasher by Blizzard.
Set in the town of Tristram, this diablo remake was made with the intention of not excluding any NWN game owner, it uses no haks or expantions, since it was designed to be friendly and challenging for both new and veteran players.
-There are 200+ unique items, and 8 item sets with full set bonus'.
-Nearly infinite combinations of magical and rare magical items as this module sports a very robust custom reward system similar to that found on the blizzard version of diablo 2.
-The full compliment of runes and 11 active runewords, stones for adding enhancements to those socketed items, and of course all the bosses you can shake a stick at...
This module is the single player version of Home Town (Classic Diablo), hosted on the "0 # Viking NorthEast" server under the Action cue.

8/22/07 after some testing I realized there were a few left over things that needed to be changed,
-overpowered spawns in hell level 3 fixed
-export charactor when creating a townportal fixed(removed)
-added emote wand to new charactors
-disabled the area cleaning events

the soundfiles are optional, I considered and still am considering adding all the original sounds to a hak to include with this module, so the npcs seem more lifelike _________________________ =) enjoy!

Fan art laws protect things like this from sue happy corperations, and from what I understand about Blizzard they support stuff like this, now if I was charging you, or any commerce related to thier likenesses or biowares would be where copyrights get involved _________________________ =) enjoy!
also, *are* the sound files listed on your homepage required or not?? If so, why not state so... or that they are optionals. _________________________ We are all born ignorant, but one must work to remain ignorant.
WinRAR can be found at their site. I think it's winRAR.com. If not, google the name for it. They DO have a freebie.
I've played Diablo for quite a few years and always enjoyed it. I am looking forward to playing this version. Just a warning though, make bleeding certain that there's no copyright enfringement(s) when you build something like this (which, believe it or not *has* happened). I'll play and then vote later on when I'm done. 8) _________________________ We are all born ignorant, but one must work to remain ignorant.

>>this version has the 16 main dungeons, thier respectic side areas, Tristram and the Inn.

This download is a RAR. I don't have Winrar if that's what you need to deal with it, but my computer doesn't seem to know what to do with it; can you help?

The original Diablo was a great single-player game. Can this be played solo?
