Description
As per request, a non-CEP version is now available. Version 2 does not require CEP. Version 1 does. Hope that's clear. Due to some tweeks in timing and placement of characters, in some ways version 2 actually looks better than version 1 despite the lack of neat CEP stuff.
This is a ~6 minute in-game cutscene that re-enacts Golbez's attack on Fabul in Final Fantasy IV. There is no gameplay, so if you are looking for that you will be disappointed. I reserve the right to make fun of anyone who posts a whiny comment about no gameplay. I repeat, there is no actual gameplay, only a cutscene. You have been warned. Repeatedly.
I put this together because I was looking for a fun and "easy" scripting project after going through the obnoxiously long testing phase for "Claustrophobia", which you should check out if you like this one (it has actual gameplay).
New music! Special thanks to Challseus and Berra for the tracks. The music improves the atmosphere of the cutscene tremendously. Check it out!
Notes:
If you have "text bubble" under Game Options ---> Feedback Options set to "none", then none of the dialogue will display. Unless you really hate reading, this is probably a bad thing.

Hehehe ... well, being a true final fantasy fan, I have a few tips. :)
****FINAL FANTASY 6 SPOILERS****
I would really like to see the scene before the final battle with Kefka AND the final battle itself. That would be cool. Another tip is the scene at the "Floating Continent" just before Kefka destroyes the world.
Har har. Anyway, I am considering putting together another FF scene (either 4 or 6, don't know the others that well), but I'm not sure which one. Is there any particular scene that people want to see re-created in NWN?

I have the Fabul theme, Golbez's theme, the "oh crap we're in big trouble now" music and the large battle music in MP3 format (I can fix them in BMU too if you want), if you'd like them. Though I see Challeus has already offered the battle music, you might be interested in the rest. Send me an email and let me know what you'd like.
