Description
Terror by night! The village of Orlane is dying. Once a small and thriving community, Orlane has become a maze of locked doors and frightened faces.
Strangers are shunned, trade has withered. Rumours flourish, growing wilder with each retelling.
Terrified peasants flee their homes, abandoning their farms with no explanation.
Others simply disappear ....
Based on the original TSR AD&D module N1 : Against the Cult of the Reptile God by Douglas Niles.

Thank you kindly, krydor, that is high praise indeed! Much appreciated and glad you enjoyed it as much as I hoped people would. Thanks :-)

I've played through a number of user-created modules and this one is hands down the best. A perfect conversion of a classic! Rich, congratulations on your impressive accomplishment.

Hi nikko18 - are you checking the correct braziers, it's the 4 in the central room with the large sun mosaic on the floor that need to be lit, rather than the ones in the corridor. I can't think of anything else that could be wrong and have never heard of this happening, so let me know if you're still struggling. As long as you're lighting the 4 braziers in the central room with the lit sunstick while wearing the red robe, all should be good :-) If it does turn out to be a strange bug, I'm sure I can find a command for you to try in DebugMode that will sort things out for you.

Bug (I think) ** Spoiler** I completed the first two parts of the quest to speck to the head of the abbey: preyed in the yellow robe, lit the sunstick in the orange robe. When I went to light the braziers in the red robe, they were already lit. Any thoughts, plot is stuck.

Thanks Doug, I'm so glad you enjoyed it and got that 'PnP feel' :-) My first campaign was also based around Hochoch, with N1 as the starting adventure, happy days :-) I'm not working on another module, although the thought does still cross my mind to do one, L1(possibly L1-3) would be the likely choice. But I must warn you, it may never happen :-) However, I am currently involved in a project (not NWN, but CRPG-related) which I will post some details of a soon as I am permitted to :-) Thanks for playing and voting, and for your great comments, I still like to know that people enjoyed playing :-)

Excellent module! It captured the PnP feel perfectly. I also enjoyed the fact that the module started in Hochoch as I played in a long campaign set around there. Are you working on another module? If so what is it?

Thanks for such wonderful comments murf09, I'm really glad you enjoyed it :-) And good that a wizard/rogue could triumph, that was my hope, 'challenging' is fine so long as it's not 'stupidly hard' :-) so I'm really glad the mana nodes made the difference. Thanks for playing and voting and such great comments :-) Rich
