Investigate a strange tower, that houses a diamond the size of a man's skull! Infiltrate Basharat the church extortionist's domicile! Fight off hordes of a new creature growing in the sewers and catacombs of Lankhmar!
Solve a noble family's mystery! Save Fafhrd and Gray Mouser from their kidnappers, get it all done before the Gods of Lankhmar catch you on the street!
Lankhmar...city of thieves, city of the night, city of adventure. Visit the fabled Rainbow Palace, risk the winding maze of the Tenderloin. From the wharves of the River District to the dark sewers below, explore every park of this mighty metropolis.
You become inextricably entwined in the conflict between two cults through an inopportune job. Depending on how you handle yourself and the petty war in the shadows between the two banished cults, the Gods of Lankhmar, those brown boned revenants who founded the city in antiquity may rise to seek their vengeance on ALL of those who would imperil their beloved Lankhmar.

I recommend that you start by exploring the Silver Eel. Be sure to get some quests/henchmen there. All of the henchmen are now trainable. Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback.

Great QA! I really appreciate how detailed you are. Thanks a lot! I took your advice, and put Pulgh2 outside of the Kleshite Den. I then updated all of his conversations. Instead of using the parrot, I just had the conversation move the story along for that quest. Barbarian is no longer hostile, so that should work out fine now. Set the sas28 conversation file to delete itself, so there should only be one garrick/GOL ending. Arykki should work now for the final conversation. "Inrik's" hideout key is on Allma Valinor's body. Glemen'e tenement and the sewer door are close together, in the SE River district. Fixed the Basharat "restore camera" script. Obviously, skipping out of a cutscene / conversation can break the experience. Thanks for the great QA again. Please keep it coming! _________________________ Well, y'know... No problem. it is true I have been frustrated and excessive in my judgement even if I think it is somewhere a danger for young players to loose too much time and jeopardizing their life. I got the levels by myself and much work in fights ! It is astonished to get 40 XP for killing small creatures even 144 for a spider! I would like to be constructive and help you to perfect this huge module. Important details concerning side quests. The Therluss daughter kidnapping: Pulgh copy of level one is killed as soon as he spawns in the Kleshite den. He is not of the level of surrounding enemies. Once this corrected (I simply moved the copy in the street in front of the kleshite door), the original still exists at his home and you can fight him again. The best would be to heal the copy, change him of faction and "jump" it at this door. The key of the daughter should have been created by a conversation I did not find the trigger. So, I put it in the chest. The parrot from Sheelba sometimes do not appear if the daughter is free (random ?). Barbarian remains hostile after you left him and coming back completing the quest. The invisible object of the end of Garrick quest remains active and you can create some copies (friendly) of him and the gods. The maze (Arykki) quest cannot be completed because the tag of Arykki should be "arriki3) and not 4. The guild mage cannot appear because the way point does not exist. I have not found him in the NPC list. "Inrik hide out" doesn't seem to be opened despite the presence of Kereith. Is that the reason her quest cannot be completed ? "Freeing the gray mouser..." The "hisdrcc" does not exist and his basement too. I have searched in vain any secret door around and in the river district and temple sewers (not the other districts yet). Minor details now : The neutrality of commoners (not defenders). The conversation of any city guard while searching for the gray mouse refers about the prisoner. Creatures like leopards, cobras surprising in a sewer. We could change the by cloud of insects or some other vermin beasts. I always ask myself when I put a creature what does it eat ? Sytem problem when using the camera : The player become totally invisible. He must rest to restore his image. It is sensitive with the conversation of Bakarat at his home and with Hisvis house guard. I am sorry to have missed something. I have a good idea how much work this module represents and should not deserve my first appreciation. Forgive me. I have made personal corrections to play the module as you can see but my version of the game is a French one and would require some work to send it to you. Best and friendly regards.

jhmssa - You're welcome, and I'm sorry you got frustrated. LN still kills me from time to time too. Anyhoo, try talking to Udasu at the beginning. He'll bump you to L3, and give you a cool item. From there, you can get compatriots and can get enough quests in the Eel to level up to L4 before venturing out. Sorry about the faction issue, it's tied to the surrender script, which I can't even get the board gurus to figure out. Just try a reload. interlocutor(s) conversation? _________________________ Well, y'know... Sometimes you eat the bar, and..

Hi Udasu. Thank you for your hard work, especially for the areas. Forgive me for the following. I feel somewhere guilty to do that. It is the first time of my life. THIS IS NOT A GAME BUT A CHALLENGE FOR MASOCHISTS ! The areas are (very) huge with almost all of the doors closed. You spend several days of scouting. It is said you must start at level one when you play solo but it is very difficult to find quest with that. It is too easy to fire conversations consequences. You cannot anticipate if you have restored a saved game. The doors of interest are only open or locked by conversation. Probably you have to join the spoilers and to follow precisely the walkthrough. The scripts are of poor quality without useful comment (The name of the interlocutor(s) conversation is missing, which is mandatory in such huge module). Many areas are useless (sewers) just some comoners or encounters triggered. The commoners should have been neutral. Like they are, as you are attacked, they try to fight the hostile characters and so getting killed. It may be important. if it is involved in a quest. I am stuck and discouraged to restart from the beginning because of the very hard fights I had to do. Forgive me again. I know how this work difficult, long and sometimes boring. I should have voted 7.5 but I don't want to discourage you. Sincerely yours.
