monty haul with overpowered sword.
Why make players enter with 1lvl when you level them up to 5th? _________________________ Thanks Rolo:)

==== Spoiler Below ====
The concept behind the module is interesting. However, there is not enough to elaborate the concept. e.g. There is no journal entry to mention what to do next after you have distinguish the fire in the field.
I have also encountered some of the problems in this module:
- Some of the enemies are too tough, e.g. the two goblin chieftain. They have aura of cold. They can cast stoneskin, ghostly visage, and a lot of magic missiles. They take infinite time for my fighter to finish them off and I have wasted a lot of "Gem of Life". I suggest the player to retrieve the Sword of Elemental Fury before fighting them.
- Strangely, the boss is not difficult at all as I have got a potion with Spell Mantle which I could immune to most of his spells. He is even weaker than the two goblin chieftain.
- There is no explanation about why there is a underground goblin city exist. Unlikely the goblin outside the city, they are friendly to my fighter.
- The sword does seems too powerful for a low level character (my fighter has reached level 6 at the end of the module)

To sum up, this appears to be the first module of the author and it rather shows. Others obviously got more out of it than I did so either there was a glitch or I missed something.

Unfortunately I can't give this a very high score as I got nowhere. I didn't really know what was going on or what I was supposed to be doing.
No journal entries, goblins were friendly to me (but had apparently burnt my field?), no idea how (or if) I was supposed to get into the tower. Hmm, I suppose I could have tried the chime of opening now I think of it but there was no 'door' cursor showing up in the lightning filled gap.
The 'snow mushrooms' didn't do anything when clicked, or bashed.
Of the two doors in the goblin cave one opened (but no transition). The other was unlockable but could be bashed. No transition though.
Maybe I missed something that would have made it all work. :-/
That was a nice little thing for my Predator character. Perhaps too many goodies to start with. I suggest to modify the level up script with a test where the level up occur only if the character is lvl 5 or less.
Got killed (lost one life item) by one single creature and once back on feet decided to go play the 2nd episode right away since my predator already failed his "mission".

It took slightly longer than advertised, but other than that it was a nice Mod... good work... but I would like to have a more engaging story... something that could be achieved easily and without actually hurting the concept of a quick adventure. But I enjoyed the whole experience (and the prize is really something to behold...).
i liked the idea and the mod was pretty neat but the presentation is a little misleading : what is the point of announcing a level 1 mod when it automatically raise your character level on start ?
i expected something like a beginner character going through several such mods without a true storyline but some sense of continuity nonetheless
besides that, i do hope we will see more of this in the (near) future :)
There are several haks needed to play this. You should either post them or remove them. I will give you a detailed commentary/review if you do this.
