Description
UPDATE! Updated to 1.3. Edited areas to make use of some of the new placeables and updated the DM Documentation. Also updated to the new guns. Thank you to Forrestwolf for helping me update it properely to the D20 MM version 1.3.
Re-named it version 1.3 so it matches with the D20 MM update to avoid confusion.
*****
This module requires a Dungeon Master, otherwise it will not run at all. It is also a multi-player module.
It also requires the CEP 2 and the D20 modern hakpaks from the D20 base module.
*****
As members of a search and rescue team, you've been sent to investigate the disappearance of several miners from a mining expedition on a fairly remote planet, Martian 6.
No one has heard from the miners for over 6 months and now someone has finally been sent to investigate: you!
The objective is simply, you and 5 other members of the rescue party will pilot a ship out to the planet, don't worry about the time you'll spend in deep sleep, the ship's robot will take care of things until you arrive.
Once you've arrived on the planet you will need to investigate and find out what happened. You're priority is to rescue any survivors and gather evidence. You're secondary objective is to survive.
*****
The players do not need to download the module, but instead will need the D20 Base Module to create their characters (then send the bic files to the person running the module on their server).

Looks spiffy!... wish that it was single or multiplayer but without a Dm, though. You never can find one when you need one. :o) _________________________ Don't ask me what I think of you,

Thankyou for the kind offer Blood Curse, but I'll have to decline because I'm already in the D20 MM Team, and I'm also working with some others on a sci-fi/fantasy single-player module - so I don't really have the time. Thanks for the offer though, and for voting! :) _________________________ [Country House Interior Tileset] [Cyborg Factory Module]

I'm going to update and improve this module after the D20 update comes out. I think I'll change the look of a few things, add some more detail to the story, and improve the DM documentation. It might have to wait for up to a month after the d20 update, because I have other projects as well, but I'll definately get it done. _________________________ [Country House Interior Tileset] [Cyborg Factory Module]

I have to say... Primo DM'd Module!! I was in the beta test of it and it was incredibly well produced and DM'd.

One more quick thing - Mcsnuff, check out the new D20 Modern - we're in version 1.1, not beta, things are much more stable, and we're addressing bug fixes real-time.

I co-DM'd the beta test, and it was incredible stuff to work with. Very original use of D20 Modern as well as CEP - and great use of tone to set the mood. The reddish skies, constant rain, Desert tileset - all combined to really make an alien world. The dropship was an excellent choice for landing craft; the clues to lead the PC's on their mission were detailed and chosen well.
There was a good balance between roleplaying and combat; a DM could steer it one way or the other.
It's worth noting that we used it as a sequel to Gray Sector - it's certainly not intended that way, but it was HILARIOUS at times to combine an alien-chaser-spoof team with a somber, offworld rescue mission. My favorite one-liner coming from the Gray Sector rescue team: "We're with the DMV."

I was part of the beta group for this mod...it's VERY cool and well structured.
