Description
The Girl in Ill Humour by Lucky Day. You must save the life of a Little Girl in trouble. Unfortunately, her mother didn't give you much choice.
This mod is recommended for character levels between 12-20+ for solo play. Having multiple players will cause problems (including DMs).
It's been tested with a level 21, 14 and 10 monk, a level 15 cleric, an epic level sorcerer, and a 15th level barbarian/weapon master combo.
CR on no monster you are meant to fight is more than 10. There are are a rare few creatures you are not meant to fight - these are usually impossible even at epic levels (you still can fight them, however its not as rewarding if you do. You'll also rob yourself of some cutscenes). There's a few plot characters as well.
There are specific areas you can rest in. In artificial areas like cities for example, you'll need to find a room at an inn. Most other places should be ok. There's a 180 second limit between rests.
This module is puzzle oriented with some tongue in cheek humour thrown about. Some areas have a lot of combat, others virtually none.
There are 9 cutscenes.
Script Systems
This uses Gestalt's Cutscenes. A few old scripts from 2004 I discovered were generated with Lilac Soul's script generator and because of deadlines I just left them in. Everything else should be my own.
For the sake of documentation, in case there's still any legacy code that remains and I've forgotten to remove them, this mod initially used Jasperre's AI, the PWFXP, the DMFI system, Jassper's Trainer as modified by QuickKilla, and Sunjammer's Tilemagic system. These are great systems, but I've removed them to highlight my own work for the sake of this contest. I've done my best to remove them but in case something slipped through I want to make sure I give credit where credit is due.
Thanks to 4elements, and Bear_Warrior for playtesting this for me.

I do side with the crowd/reviewer on this one.
This could could be a Masterpiece if the following could be fixed:
- too many XP (gained 2-3 levels)
- no or not enough loot (except for the boots)
- ending or sequel (design choice)

Crazy module, though fun to play.
- "Welcome to my shop" line after 100th time gets annoying
- so does the slowdown of PC after fights at air: the high roads _________________________ Thanks Rolo:)

This mod wasn't one of the winners but I can guarantee you'll have a good time for anyone that downloads it.
Congratulations to all the winners!

Corey: Thanks for playing this through and the comments. I'm glad you had fun. Weird, excellent, funny and surreal are definitely complements to me. Those describe the sort of things I was aiming for in the mod.
My old enemy the box is haunting me again, eh? I first discovered it broken on the last day of the contest. Bear found it flooding his inventory.
I rewrote the thing from scratch before submitting and greatly simplified what it did. However, I didn't count on anything happening if you had two boxes. I'll definitely look at that again. It would be easier if I just didn't have the halfling however, the box by itself where it is makes no sense. It has to have some context.
The invisible wood giantess happened to me once too. It was never a problem after that one incident. Its clearly a bioware bug when it does happen but I think I can work around it.
My guess is what's causing it is she's being textured while spawning and its happening too fast for game to make it visible in some cases. If I were create a trigger to paint her after she's fully spawned that could possibly eliminate it. Otherwise, I'll just take out the texture. _________________________ The Girl in Ill Humor: Entry for the Bioware World Design Contest.

I finished it. I think I must have randomly tried to talk to every wife but the right one the first time I played it. It was much longer then 40 minutes so that might have lowered your chances in the contest.
Its a weird module. There are strange events and characters. The area design and use of effects are excellent. Writing is mixed. There are really funny lines and writing that is just strange. Its fun in a surreal way.
I ran into a few bugs. I got two fire proof boxes from giving a halfling the one I bought then killing him to get it back once I figured out the puzzle. The onenter script for the fire world didn't handle that. I just dropped one of them and put the books in again and it worked.
Ran into a enemy called Wood Giantess that was completely invisible. I don't know if that is a bug on my end or what. She shows up fine in the toolset.

I played this for a while. I got the could giants hammer then his wives attacked. He seemed to be dazed or something but I still couldn't kill him really. I was only hitting on twenties.
It has nice area design and interesting fog monsters.
This project was started in winter of 2004 and I revived and completed it for this contest over June/July 2007. I've tried to come up with the most visually stunning mod I could.
It started off as a solo mod but it became the basis for a PW idea and became too ambitious. I've streamlined it back into something solo for the contest. Some of my old PW players may recognize one or two areas.
Some of my scripting systems you may find useful if you want to use them in your own mod:
TLGrid 2.0 - my tilemagic system. It stands alone now. It's used in a number of places especially Earth - ld_inc_tilegrid
Water Songs - as used in Water - water_songs
Beamgrid - as used in Fire - ld_inc_beamgrid
Delay Wrappers - used in the end movie - ld_inc_cutscene
Area of Effect Grid - static AoE system similar to TLGrid. Used in Fire but not extensively. ld_inc_aoegrid
Log Cabin and Longhouse - as used in fire - ld_inc_legos and log_cabin
Core Mod - this also includes an early version of my Core Mod which was my version of my own personal "HCR". Its been heavily modified for this mod as it was meant for PW design - cor_*
reagents - requires two Ultima like spell components to cast spells of a certain school - the system is in the mod but it not implemented in the game - cor_spellhook
Some of these systems I'll upload independently on the Vault in the coming weeks. Some are uploaded already.
Tips
Try the fire guild first and look around the common room.
In the earth guild quest save your game often - definitely save in the shack.
In the air guild quest there's a surprise creature at the entrance of the castle after the conversation. Don't miss him.
In the water guild common room talk to the kitchen helper first. (Minor spoiler: get bludgeoning protection in case of water elementals).
Resisting fear, poison, acid, blindness, piercing, fire, bludgeoning, heck any buffs, can be very useful. These specific ones I've mentioned can be very useful.
