This adventure is one of a series of modules that have been designed with a concept that is different than the standard modules for Neverwinter Nights. The Tales of the Sundering are an anthology of modules, written by different Hall of Fame authors. Each module or "Tale" can be thought of as a "short story" that satisfies as a stand-alone adventure but features a mysterious campaign setting developed and shared amongst the various authors involved in the project.
This module works with a "hub and spoke" system, and should only be played when loaded from the "hub".
Although the Great Dragons vanished hundreds of years ago, a unusual Illuminator named Grias has asked you to find a Dragon's Egg so that he can prepare a cure for the Siztha's deadly venom.
I'm stuck in the Steam tunnels. The only place left is to go in the hole with the Cube, but when I get down there, there is no Cube Corpse. I've tried wearing the dragon helm, the spirit helm, and with no helm. Am I going about this the wrong way? did I miss something? Any help would be great. thanks!

Overall this series is amazing. Great henchman, NPCs and plot(s), great technicals. Amazingly, the only flaw I recall is that there is an exploit which allows a player to get infinite GP that probably wasn't intended, which itself is only a flaw if the player exhibits weakness of will or greed.
I hope that I am in the right module because I am having problems with the pressure plates in the floor. There is a force field that prevents me from continuing. Where can I find objects to use on them?

A great follow-up. Haven't gotten the medicine bag to do anything so far, but no problem.
I'm ridiculously well off in combat capability already. Should have actually taken a druid or a ranger instead of Paladin though.
Missing out on sidestuff and not needing the extra combat prowess. Enjoying pretty much everything so far.

I can't seem to get the medicine bundle animal skin life restoring to work
I put a skin in the bag, (wolf skin, jaguar hide, hell hound hide, doesnt matter) then ask my totem wolf to return animals spirit. He just replies "there are no animal corpses here".
Doing something wrong?

Like the previous voter I thought this wasn't as strong and it didn't engage me as much as the earlier mods somehow but still very good. _________________________ Take me out to the black, tell them I ain't coming back;

Didn't find this one as strong, but still a very good experience.

I'm also enjoying this episode, but I'm still searching for the elusive BlackCrystals and DarkSilver. I'm pretty sure I've looked everywhere, but obviously not since I haven't found it yet. :)
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
Fine. Just got it! I enjoyed so much all of the other puzzles, I couldn't fail with this last one. And you know what? Those black crystals? They ain't no black! ... And barely crystals... Don't bother unless you hate, as I, having something left in your journal. And give yourself a 250XP points instead.
If you don't mine... Ah, ah! Good joke... _________________________ @ + jml, level 52

you can also take all the spare parts in the closets and drop them so they form a trail the construct will follow to repair them until it reaches the place you want

A great deal of fun!
This Chapter has some great puzzles and moves the story forward nicely.
These mods should be bumped to the Hall of Fame right away!

Thank you Codepoetz. Brainfart solved, nifty puzzle. Definitely had me stumped.
Chpmunk - The construct tells you that its function is to repair things. You need to repair the console on the other side of the ruins. So how do you lead the construct over there? There are several ways to do it; here's the easiest one. Bash the (working) console nearest the construct (use its dialog). The construct will walk over to repair that console. Next, bash the next nearest one. It will walk to that one. Continue doing this until you reach the other side of the ruins. Hope that helps!

WOW, simply WOW.
Ok, now for the Noob Q, I have read the "hints" and "spoilers". I usually can "get it" from the help onthese boards....But not this time.
How do you get the construct/console/spare parts to work?
In fact, I had thought that the sirtage parts had a role to play, but as my dexterity is not high enough, I cannot think about something else. I also tried a lot of things, objects, I even had my totem animal intervene, but nothing occured...
Bah, I'm going to cry a little watching all this money eluding me, but as a monk, I will soon after contemplate how materialism is nothing but a void...
Netwalker - There are 3 ways to defeat the spheres. By far the most entertaining is to ponder the question: "what happens when an indestructable force meets another indestructable force." Hope that helps without giving too much of the puzzle away.
