This adventure is one of a series of modules that have been designed with a concept that is different than the standard modules for Neverwinter Nights. The Tales of the Sundering are an anthology of modules, written by different Hall of Fame authors. Each module or "Tale" can be thought of as a "short story" that satisfies as a stand-alone adventure but features a mysterious campaign setting developed and shared amongst the various authors involved in the project.
This module works with a "hub and spoke" system, and should only be played when loaded from the "hub".

Just a vote. Comments are in the hub module page. _________________________ Thanks Rolo:)

Hope there is more to this series coming up. Multiple story lines, different forms of magic, and different cultural beliefs, make this one of the most diversified modules I have played to date.

HELP! I must be having a blond moment, as I can't figure out how to position the damned mirrors inside the tomb. Does anyone have the solution to this puzzle?
Absolutely loving this series. I looked at it several times before finally deciding to play it, glad I finally did. Great work.

Amazing series, it would be nice however to know how the ending is going and if it's still under development. _________________________ The hottest new modules you can't miss - player suggested

Very good adventure but somehow I did have some peculiarities at the end:
1. I cannot figure out where to use the alchemist bomb
2. I got the light "7-stone" stone but the journal said I decided not to get this stone.
3. After defeated Szark and I got back to the mine and Szark's shadow is still there.
Just discovered an annoying bug.
The dwarf spirit has trouble bashing the rock barrier blocking the way to the Brightblade Chapel.
He always begins by bashing the rock on the left, then chips part of his body and his hammer through the rock on his right and gets stuck there.
I left him to his work for 10 minutes while watching TV and he STILL didn't do anything.
If the Brightblade Chapel is a critical area, then I'm up*bleep* Creek without a paddle. >.<
Could someone post the solution to the Bear Tribe scales puzzle? An Entangle spell cast by a Shaman won't freaking end and the game tells me that I'm too excited to use the panel and read the puzzle hint.
Or at least could someone post what's written on the panel so I could figure it out on my own?
Umm please?
I have no previous save so I'll be stuck replaying through Brightblade's tomb and Grovel's area - which is SIMPLY NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Superb set of mods! Love the storyline and the complex scripting (wonders how you did it?) Was hoping for a conclusion. Maybe? Again, outstanding work!!! _________________________ Defeat the Black Knights! Play Phantasie

I've just played this series again and have decided to vote a 10.
however...this series is a little like making love without an orgasm...so far no finish and a feeling of frustration.
I hate voting so I never do it. Nevertheless this is quite fun to play and very well done. I just wanted to drop a note telling you that I have enjoyed your work a lot, and really liked it.
I hope for a continuation of the series if that ever happens, but of course, that's for you to decide.
Thanks for making these available here, great custom content and an even greater play experience.

Loved the whole story. Very difficult, I would imagine, to keep the thread of so many stories consistent. Please don't tell us the next part "Heart of the Storms" is not to appear for us to dl. The story begs to be completed and not left hanging. Keep up the great work and post TS06 soon.

Replaying these modules again. Still hoping to see the
"Heart of the Storm" TS006 module.
Good series so far. I like the Karissa story with the mysterious woman in my dreams.
I'm having a problem too with the ring of the Bear. Nice benefits, but the bear form won't come off, no matter what I do. Is there a way to set your appearance back and return your size to medium?

A lengthy mod with numerous chapters, quite enjoyable.

Dramcolsop, the quarry is to your left just after you enter the main village of the Bear Clan. The powder is in the second room.
I need help, please! I have come out of the bear-shaman cave, and hordes of dragonkin just keep killing me and my henchmen. I have respawned about 20 times. I finally killed enough to get into the dragon tower, but there is a huge group of them again, who just bombard us with those icy things and down we all go. It's getting very irksome, and I can't help but feel perhaps I'm missing something. did I leave out a step? I can't see that three of us should be expected to just hack and slash our way through these groups. it's too annoying to die every five seconds.
also, I am somehow stuck in bear form...I took the ring off, and I'm still a bear. I put it on, still a bear...whatsupwiththat...?
thanks

I love this series. It feels like one great big module that I can see immediate results. It does take longer than just the one hour to complete, which is very nice.
I found a small bug in the ending though. After I unbound K from the ring and fought the dragonkin and illuminators and Szzara(sp), just for kicks I tried the binding and the Dragonkin and Sephorites re-spawned and attacked again.
Also, a minor critique, when I got back to the city, the journal states that I should decide who to give the ring to, the dragonkin or the Sephorites or myself. Why would I want to give the ring to either of the groups who just tried to kill me? Maybe I should try and see if I get to attack them. I am pissed that they tried to attack me after all I had done for them.
Also, it is irksome that Morigan always says that I am not a pureblood. I am playing a sorcerer/rdd. I thought that RDD were descended from dragons. I know it is for story purposes, but my character does not. I really want to use firebreath on him and show him what an rdd can do every time he looks down his nose at me.
All in all, this is a great series and I anxiously await the next installment. Any timeframe on TS6?

Firstly, there's much more than one hours gamplay here...at least there was for me! Continues the consistently great work in this series. Nice conclusion to the Karissa quest.
I just hope ToS6 sees the light of day and doesn't disappear dwon a black hole.
@ stch98 - did you find the log in one of the rooms in the rat caves? I missed it at first and spent ages trying to find the damn thing... _________________________ Take me out to the black, tell them I ain't coming back;

I'm stuck at the very end when I try to take the ship back to the hub. After the auto-save I get an error message something like "database henchmen write error please try again". Trying again, reloading etc. don't help.
On arriving at the island I lost my two henchmen and carried on without them, so I guess the problem was with the transition into this module.
Do you have any ideas for a way round this? I don't suppose there's much left that I'm missing until the final module comes out but it would be nice to get back to town and sell all my loot!
Great module by the way: I've really enjoyed the whole series, thank!

Great Mod. Having trouble with the bridge. Found three longs but can't find the fourth, or a tree to take down nothing. Is there a fourth or did I hit a glitch? Any help? Whats next for the series?

i had a problem with the tree transition point after coming out of the bear clan cave. i got an error message for the script file saying it was invalid - division by zero. i had rope in my bag but the dialog would not start. i ended up replaying that section three or four times before i could get it to work with the rope from the chest by the cave exit. i had not heard of anyone else having this problem so i thought you would like to know. the whole series has been great, when is chapter 6 - center of the storm coming??????
Yup, still stuck, started over to make sure I haven't missed anything. Still stuck looking for red pearl, and brightwood isle activation. I had the sequence out of whack. I have friends that are awaiting the final, and they can't figure out what I did wrong either. Possibly not buying a skin graft is the only suggestion so far.

WoodsDweller, I reread your question and you can use both the Silver Ore and Dark Ore for crafting. You just get different results than the Dark Silver Ore.

WoodsDweller, just saw your post. If your talking about the ore you find, you can use it for crafting better equipment in the Dark Silver Delve. I did this and added some nice bonuses to my party's gear. Feel free to contact me if anything else.

This series continues to show some of the best work with NWN custom content I've played. Truely superior work!
Any news on the next Chapter?

Chpmunk: hope you're not still stuck...I just saw your post. You want to begin by talking with Shaman Ortha (if I remember correctly), you are on the trail of Grias Grimtongue.
What is Dark Ore (refined from dark silver) supposed to do? It has a unique power (target), but I haven't seen it do anything. I looked in the toolset for a function, but did not find one.
As always; I found my way around. The grenade? 'doesn't matter if it's not working... Ah, ah, ah! That rocks story is just insanely amazing. Bravo. Can we rate with a good 11 somehow? I mean when it's well deserved... _________________________ @ + jml, level 52
