Description
The first instalment of an epic tale.
You have just reached your adulthood and today you are to be declared the heir apparent of the King of Gaeldornia. Just one simple ceremony and you can leave the castle and put all the skills you have learnt to the test. You wake on the morning of your investiture, your destiny awaits...

Chapter One is Sudden Death be prepared to save regularly. I've built in an auto-save feature after the level-up routine, so be careful what abilities you choose.

It is designed to be played STRICTLY as a fighter. Not wanting to give too much away a certain item you acquire will eventually enable to indulge in other types of gameplay.

The Mod is now finished (fingers-crossed). I hope you enjoy playing it. Chapter Two shouldn't take as long now I've got the hang of the toolset.
Now Updated for CEP 2.1.
Gameplay tweaked considerably. It should be less easy to get stuck in this version. The convo's & journal entries have been smoothed out.

An optional GUI (Game Interface) I created using the brilliant Gothic one the bods at Ravenloft created. I like it but then I'm biased. Just bung it in your override folder if you fancy a change. Link

My mistake there didn't even notice I had notpicked up and then used it, VG. So return to Evannah. Spent quite some time escaping with her, you have to take the quickest route to my room, otherwise she'll wait outside king's chamber, if a guard got in the way she'd wait there. Finally into my room and then combat. Part of the dialogue says I take my mask off when I speak to cousin so he can recognise me but my player still looks like the diguise (old man/bard in blue costume). The equipment you receive from vault is very powerful ie +3 hasted full plate, the cousin drops a +3 long sword and after killing guards (best to run back into one of the small rooms so at the max only 2 are attacking you) go back to my room. Pick up camping eqpt and then remember the magical graetsword in weapin rack. Originally could not identify ot but I see it immediately as the Gemsword, way too powerful for 4th/5th lvl. Combats were very tough early on as I play hardcore had to reload quite a few times but the usual let the enemy attack one at a time was used, even so they would generally attack altogether (makes perfect sense). Released half orc and found ? other fighter and used these. There was no option to take any eqpt, potion from them when they left. Carrying on. When I used my secret exit, dialoge comes up about me donning mask and then giving it to Evannah for her to escape. Had to replay this a few times as my character would become the old man etc again. When I leave and appear outside by stump, Evannah is not with me she had left before and disappearss as soon as she reaches exit. Anyway i say keep low .... as I am outside but to whom. There is no Evannah. Anyway as I mentioned had to reload a few times so that my charcter looked like my character and then the chase and end. Not bad apart from what I have mentioned the eqpt is way too powerful (then again is it being the adopted son and heir apparent, difficult one). Have been playing NWN 2 quite a bit but returned to NWN due to lack of NWN2 mods and those mods I have played have been OK. Even so thank you for your free time.

Prob half way through this and am having some problems. Not bug related but possibly myself, maybe not following journal, although sometimes the journal isn't very clear for us normal people. Prob at mo is I have managed to enter power room and shut it down. Go back to king's room. (Before this going into king's room some cultist guy, did not disappear or teleport away, unless I am supposed to do this.) Find out display cases are all empty, something came up in chatbar but I was moving. I think you are then led to tome but I got stuck. The journal entry about going to power room is still in the to do things. I had wandered into library before this and got zapped. I saved game before geas and carried on. Gone to fiancee's room and then it mentions that I should take royal hoard. Just wondering if you have to go about this in the exact way to carry on
