World of Torr has been a hall of fame winning persistent world for years and is now being made available to the public as we move away from NWN1. This file is a .RAR which contains the module a small HAK file as well as some files used to actually run our server. There is also a quick README.txt to help you set it up. This world is still running and available to play on under "Roleplay"!
The world requires CEP and the Elven Expansion, City and Interiors HAK Paks which are still available at our website or on NWVault. NWNX is not required.

if you can have more than on play per cr code I would give it a 10. with out knowing how the scripts are made. it is very hard to make the changes that is needed to remove the amount of pc you can have with one cd code. I wish you could open it up so you are nit force to one char. per cd code please place a fix for this problem thanks

The place looks really wonderful and I like some of the things you have done. I don't commonly like Steve's reviews, but I have to agree with him as far as items wearing out and having to eat and sleep so frequently. But it does not bring down the score I give it because I base it more on how good the mod achieves it's goals rather than what I wish it would do. A very fine world that anyone would love to have as a base even if they have to strip out a few systems. But I must mention how well made those systems are. This module does what it was intended to do very well, regardless of how well it fits my personal preferences.

I'll give it the mean score because some will like this. I didn't. It's.... just too real with the food and item wear. I wish to play modules I can relax to after work, not stress over.
Again, this module's realism is for some, but not all. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.

Since the hak is elven, should the character we play also be elven as well? _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.

I learned how to play a naked caster here... now I play them every where I go. Can not wait till I finish my version of it and post it. I am adding more quests, areas, and monsters. Also finishing some of the dungeons =p Still learning how some of the scripts work though, so slow going. _________________________ Naves

What can I say? It's a huge part of my experience with NWN1 and I owe my deepest thanks for DrDread for creating the World of Torr. There's no other place quite like it. The scripting is excellent and the atmosphere brilliant. Thank you, thank you, thank you! _________________________ Logical arguments tend to favour those who have much faith vested in them. Ridable horses are not included in World of Torr. I've seen what that hak does and it's very bloated. I never thought Neverwinter would work very well with mounted characters and I tried to keep the world simple so it wouldn't get too far out of hand.
over_my_head, nice to know you liked the scripting in there, thanks =)
