The version 6 of the Legacy of Ilmara module now uses a custom server side LoI_Custom.hak instead of a modified CEP_custom hak. This hak is inclued in the archive with the v6 module.
This is the most current version of the "Legacy of Ilmara" module is NWN 1/69/CEP2.2(b) compatible
this version requires the LoI v6 hak set (link listed in haks required section) included with the module is the serverside version of the LoI_cusotm.hak which is required to run/edit the module
This is the current public release of v5 of LoI it requires NWN v1.69 (both expansions) and CEP v2.1 rev C as well as a new (and improved) LoI hak set that is avalible at the link listed below.
*updated* 9/1/08 to include fixed OnClientEnter script (no more everyone is a dwarf)
The version 6 hak sets are done and ready for download (if you had the version 5 set then you only need the update not the full) I am running a final build on the public release of version 6 right now and will upload it when its done barring no build errors. I have enabled all of the cep C.R.A.P. content that does not interfear with the systems already in the module and have added a few of the times to some of the stores. what I havent done is put any of the C.R.A.P. "stuff" that is shocased in the demo area in the cEP 2.2 crap base mod. that area was added to the LoI mod public release for those that wich to add more of this content to the module and need a "referance" ((I wish these formus allowed a preview or edit fucntion))

Oh worry not about spelling or that kind of things with me because I am the worst offender of that(skilled writers probably take offense at my terrible grammar and spelling but I try my best hehe). Anyway I am so happy and encouraged that you are still so active with your modules. I mentioned your module in the PRC forums. I hope that is o.k. with you. I just wanted to see what the people that built PRC think about how hard it will be to turn your PW into PRC. ( I know many would be happy to know about your work regardless). As you know already I am useless when it comes to much of what you do so well but for what is worth I use the PRC switches as a way to customize what I want instead of messing with there script or trying to mix it with existing script. They have so many switches that controls all aspects of the game LA, crafting, death system, etc. as well as being able to turn things off as well so they do not interfere with your existing work. Unfortunately much farther than that I can't help much. PRC is almost like a whole new game it offers so much new stuff and so many new magic systems. It really is a way for NWN to be immortalized as the combination and possibilities are so many that its almost impossible to play them all. ( And with a PW such as yours it would be impossible to ever get bored of it.) Anyway Using LA( level adjustment switch *it is all automatic once turned on) things get balanced much better. I am sure some of the pro players and builders will be better help than me. But I can make a good cheerleader ;) Thanks again for your consideration and time!

PRC... PCR (so I'm a bit dyslexic when I type... in adittion to being atrocious at spelling)

Hi again, Well I am sure glad to hear you are still actively working on your SUPER PW. You know... For a very long time I have been a fan of PRC ( I love there PnP Shifter among many other features). But I always found that when ever any person tried to make a PW with PRC they faded away due to how hard it is to incorporate PRC an maintain balance ( One almost has to start form scratch and know all the PRC content intimately to make it work.) I know little to nothing about making modules ( thought I have tried very hard I am just not good at it) I am a player ( love to play for hours). But to play PRC I have to merge and existing module with PRC and I quickly find that it is either way out of balance for many races and classes ( because the module builder did not take PRC into consideration when making the PW or because the tlk file and custom content conflicts with PRC. So I thought my solution would be to try and make my on module (WOW... That was way to hard. For me at least). Only to end up not satisfied with what I made because I know where everything is, I know the plot etc.( it is just no fun to play your own modules). But your PW even with just vanilla NWN classes and the subraces is so much fun! *Dreams of it with PRC* that would be such an awesome experience( I think). I only believe it can be done "right and balanced" by people with your skill, knowladge and love for RPG(NWN). I will cheer you on with your work regardless of your choice for it is great already. Anything more is nothing less than a bonus. Great work!

Thank you for your kind words TarponCrest, they are most apriciated. As for incorperating PRC into the module, I have often concidered it and now that no more offical nwn patches will be released it is in the realm of possibility. On a simular note I am at this very moment working on public release of version 6 which will be CEP 2.2 compatible, more info on that soon.

I am so thankful the creator(s)/Owners(s) of this PW decided to share this with everyone. Thanks! This is a great well balance PW with great maps and lots of things to do. I can see how this PW works best for RP in a multi-player setting, but I been having a great time playing solo using the henchmen that are available. So many things have been well thought out(no stealing things right in front of NPCs with out the NPCs having something to say about it! No pulling out your weapons in front of the guards unless you want to start a fight with the the whole city. Monsters actually try to run away if you are to powerful for them or will ignore you if they know you are to powerful, they will run for help towards others monsters(on there side) if they are loosing a battle, Rogues ambush you in city alley ways and they actually come out of the shadows (stealth mode/ hips/ I even thought one tried to PP me (I have not confirmed this for sure as it has never happened again) but it sure looked like he was trying to(nothing stated on the combat log though), anyway to much to write...) I sure would love to see this quality of work using PRC and incorporating all the things they have to offer, like Jump, Teleporting, Balance, etc ( to much to mention.) I have played many, many hours of NWN both online and solo over the years none quit ever proved to be so polished as this world is. It truly shows the author really hoped to get players to use of all skills, feats, classes, races, sub-races, etc available. Even the books that can be found around the world seem to have been written by people skilled in the art of writing( I even took a break to read them and I never read the books because the are often to long and I get bored fast but these were just right and actually helpful tips in some.) This module was definitely done by skilled people, who love PnP DD and actually now the rules and seem to practice the game with true passion. Thanks once more! Great work hope you will keep it updated should you improve it over time or decide to incorporate PRC to your already fantastic work.

~Qlippoth make sure you have the most recent update of the v5 module. (there was an issue with the everyone being a dwarf it has been resolved though)

This is a cool PW module, but I won't rate it until my issue gets resolved and I have a chance to actually play it for a while. I do notice an issue with the haks, though. When I wear a cloak it appears sized for a dwarf, also my head wil change from whet it is supposed to be to a bearded dwarven femail head after a few area transitions... I chucked everything out of my override to be sure, but it also happens no my clean linux install on my laptop.

I just checked the updated archive this morning and it is now the correct one (last night I was having trouble getting it to update to the new version) The date on the module in the archive should be 9/1/2008 for it to be the updated version.

Ahh RATS! I just discovered that I left the "bugged version of the OnClientEnter script in the public release of V5 I am at this very moment correcting it. and will update the posted file. if you would like to correct it yourself if you already have the module all that is required is this comment out line # 61 on the script "pw_mod_clientent" DelayCommand(15.0,HorseReloadFromDatabase(oPC,X3_HORSE_DATABASE)); *rember that if you open the module in the toolset you must have the moeule specific cep2_custom hak in your hak directory or it will corrupt the module due to missing resorces.
