Due to the actions of personalities like Iulius Caesar and Octavianus Augustus, Rome is no longer a Republic, and the Empire takes his first steps.
In the A.D 9, 762 ab Urbe condita, the struggle against the veterans of the Legion Nova Invicta and the barbarian tribes of the north was concluded with the victory of the imperial army.
The Legion is however sent to help an allied elven nation threatened by savages, and must make its way through the hostile Blue Wood.
With the tribes long defeated, the journey seems not to pose any threat..
VERSION 0.91
- Nwn transposition of the ambush in the Wood of Theutoburgo where three Legions were ambushed and destroyed by barbarian tribes.
- Full immersion in a latin world.
- Three different endings.
- Three henchmen to choose upon.
- 1 PC, LVL 9.
Read the readme files, please. It might help getting you better acquanted with the module.
It's a latin world, so english sometimes may seem out of place.. besides, I'm Italian. If there are any mistakes, do tell.
You may signal bugs, if any, suggestions, and share your vote here.
And, moreover, have fun playing. :)
Thanks for the vote, Mirgalen. This module is indeed story-driven combat, there is not much to roleplay, and the three different endings are based on how well you perform during the ambush and afterwards, not on your alignment.

Worth a try.
The module does not use Roman armors or shields but other than that it was a fair conversion of an historical battle into heroic fantasy settings.
I do not remember any bug but the henchman died early on (most likely due to a critical hit) and I had to restart the game (no big deal).
I also vote according to a review system (Mini Review System) but as opposed to MrGhosh I do try to read the module description. Not sure what he was expecting when the module category is combat with heavy H&S and the story based on a real battle. Well, at least he is not voting in "binary mode" (10/1) like most players.
I played "Umongus Gracius Omonculus" a seasoned soldier/gladiator and had no trouble bringing the banner back. Yet it seems that I did miss quite a few things. May be next time...
7: A good module with some issues, but worth the download for almost anyone.
I will continue support any of my modules, even the older ones. That said, this one is a translation and one enrichment of an already existing italian and thusly will not have sequels, spin-offs etc.. _________________________ Modules created

Play this module if you like mindless fighting.
I didn't like this module very much. Henchmen dying was irritating. As well as I think a bug was found. When the barbarians died there was no option to select thier bodies but when I loaded the game I could pick up their weapons. The story wasnt really much . And lack of potions was felt but atleast you could rest. The legionnaire costumes were not convincing and I didn't felt like any Legionnaire. I would say leave this module and focus on new or a much better made module of Tales of Heart. _________________________ Neverwinter Balance Patch Balance Patch

(visto che sembri avere una tipa americana as well. :P) _________________________ Modules created

Yes, it has to be completed a couple of times to enjoy all the finales.. I always liked a bit of variety but I understand that if I had to play more than one time the same module it could be boring.. so my next entry will be more story-led.

Oh, before I forget, one more bug: one of the files in a self-extracting archive failed to install. _________________________ Click Link to view content submitted by me.

I liked the module, although to fully experience it probably has to be completed several times.
Ran through it in less than 3 hours.
I liked the use of voices and piles of corpses =)
Bug (with a spoiler):
When I got the ring, the door didn't open for me (I equipped it properly but all I recieved was a floating text "you are admitted in a few hours" and then nothing). Had to use movetoarea command.
Bug(with a spoiler) ends here. _________________________ Click Link to view content submitted by me.
