First of all, a hearty thanks to all of the wonderful scripters and builders who make NWN what it is.
Currently the core of my new PW project, "World of Abred," this base module combines several useful features, drawn from the work of many community members, into a simple
core for use in designing persistent worlds.
Please don't comment that there are "better ways to do things now," or that "some of these systems are old now," because I have carefully selected the resources that I think work best and which mesh with both my ability as a
builder and my style. There are lots of base modules out there combining various sets of systems. None of them
worked for what I wanted to do, so I made my own and did the work of publishing it to the vault in the hopes that it will help someone out!
In addition to the systems below, you will find a generic set of "starting PC clothes," which you are, of course, more than welcome to edit as you see fit; a VERY generic opening store, and an equally generic horse merchant who
sells 4 varieties of horses.
Enjoy!
For documentation, please see the original "read me" files for the appropriate systems.

Ondaderthad:
Yes. Currently, the TRGS system handles chest respawns (and grants XP for succesful picked locks on both doors and chests) while Shayan's handles creature drops. _________________________ World of Abred Forums: Link

I don't need another base module at the moment but it's always good to see people giving us more choices.
You list 2 different treasure systems (Shayan and TRGS) Is there any specific reason for that?

Thanks, Mannast.
This one is 6.21 MB, but it's virtually no areas and only the scripts I wanted to include in mod. at this time (listed above).
I know a lot of base mods include custom NPC control script routines, tweaked AI, and unique persistence systems, but I did not wish to include any of these in my module at this time.
At any rate, hope you have some fun with this. _________________________ World of Abred Forums: Link

i will give it a peak - always looking for different ways to set up basemods. Mine always seems to end up around 30 mbs...

Giving myself a 10 here... is that bad etiquette?
