Description
This mod requires a DM to play. No whining about it! :)
We know now that in the twentieth century this world was being watched closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own. We know now that as human beings busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinized and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinize the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. With infinite complacence people went to and fro over the earth about their little affairs, serene in the assurance of their dominion over this small spinning fragment of solar driftwood which by chance or design man has inherited out of the dark mystery of Time and Space. Yet across an immense ethereal gulf, minds that to our minds as ours are to the beasts in the jungle, intellects vast, cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes and slowly and surely drew their plans against us.
It was near the end of October. Business was better. The war scare was over. More men were back at work. Sales were picking up. On this particular evening, you are enjoying a well deserved vacation weekend at the Lakeside Resort, when suddenly everything you think you know, everything you worry about, everything you have expected of your world was suddenly cast into oblivion....
This game uses d20 Modern 1.3, CEP 2.1, and Worms Seasonal Forest 10. It is for 2nd level characters, which have to be pre-rolled and the bics emailed to the DM in order to play (it's a d20 Modern thing). Any non-spellcasting classes, race human only, equipment clothing only.
@darth - Yes, in part. The tilesets are buggy for AI controlled creatures. They tend to get stuck a lot. But more importantly the people building for d20 are mostly DM-Builders who only build DMO mods. I looked into making an SP mod, and the time requirements are far too great given my RL responsibilities. In the time it would take me to make an SP mod I could probably make 20 DMO mods. Basically, I make mods for my own personal use in my campaign or for tournaments, which I then also upload to the vault in case any other DM's want to run them. I suspect the same is true for the other DM-Builders. _________________________ X-INV X-COM War of the Worlds Lantan University
I'm just wondering. . . Why is it that most d20 modern modules require a DM but most fantasy modules don't? Is it something in the d20 Modern hack packs that make DM-less modules difficult?

Way to go! These are the mods that keep me coming back to the Vault! Is there any custom content other then the above mentioned? Look forward to playing this one. _________________________ Farewell and a long farewell it shall be. Some of us are not destined to meet again.
