Description
"There is much that is wrong in Barovia, that much is true. But here, it keeps to the dark."
-Owner of the Cracked Mug Tavern
"Have you learned nothing in your stay here? There are powers in these lands that would take great interest in your existence. Would you like to be a slave of the dark lord Strahd? Would you like me to repeat the story of the three flesh-eating hags of Barovia? Evil wields the only real power in these lands. The rest of us survive best we can, and the wisest men know enough to hide."
-Rudolph van Richten
---------------------------------------
The last mod of the Ravenloft series. This completes the set. I, Strahd, Nosferatu, and Thoughts of Darkness.
In the time you have stayed in Barovia, you have faced Strahd von Zarocvich twice. Both times he managed to escape destruction. What will it take? The elven vampire Jander Sunstar has a suggestion. You must cross the line of life and death. Deep in your heart, in your mind you know what you must do. In your thoughts of darkness, you must become, what you hate most....Nosferatu.Vampire. First guardian of darkness.
---------------------------------------
The vigilante lives for a more focused cause; the death and destruction of a certain group or foe, without resort to laws or thought of consequences. The vigilante believes himself above the law, in fact above most peoples' idea of decency. A vilgilante has a higher cause, and considers himself a hero of the people in his dedication to it. Pride provides the hook upon which the Dark Powers hang his downfall, because for him, the end justifies the means.
This is a link to Six_Six_Six's Wildlands page. The only hak you will need is the ~wildlands hak. While you are there, check out the amazing work this guy is doing. :)

This was pretty cool! I never played as a vampire before. I was really shocked when I could control the undead in certain areas! Nice setting. Hope to see more KenLamella. :)

One of the haks are missing from this page. The wrm_pw_plac hak. Since I can't find it anywhere The module won't load for me. Would it be okay if you sent me the hak?

This has to be one of your best mods!!!! When I learned you could actually play as a vampire, I downloaded it right away! I was not disappointed from beginning to end. This was amazing! With the vampire system you have used you have all of the powers of the dreaded fanged horror. I personaly liked being able to raise entire dead armies in the graveyard myself! Incredible Ken! I would try to promote this one for Sony. Look forward to more of your work. It keeps getting better and better. _________________________ Let's not mince words. Let us say what we really mean to say.
The fangs should work when the humanoid is dominated. This happens when you first walk into the area. Either you dominate them or they resist. You will notice a blue cloud floating around their head. This is the time to sink your teeth into them. :) Enjoy your buffet. _________________________ Farewell and a long farewell it shall be. Some of us are not destined to meet again.
I just began playing and I have a question. I haven't gotten far, I haven't left Jander's lair yet.
Anyways my question is I'm a sorcerer as my normal class, and I became a vampire. I went to the slave cells in Jander's home and tried to use the vampire fangs on one of them. This didn't work as it said they have to be paralyzed, stunned, or asleep. I had a sleep spell which I tried but it didn't work. I thought maybe if I attacked them first then the spell would work, but even with a mace it wouldn't let me attack them.
Is this just for these particular slaves, or am I missing something?
Thank you dearly. That means a lot to me and Strahd too. :) To locate Sen's Underdark tileset you wil find a link located on the Arbor Fall page. I figured since there was one there anyhow......I really don't mean for you guys to go on a hunt, but I feel it gives you a chance to check out the other author's work I am using. If you have a problem locating it, I'll post a link here. Have a great day. _________________________ Farewell and a long farewell it shall be. Some of us are not destined to meet again.
Here I thought the link was posted. Man am I getting old or blind? Maybe both. :( Thanks Unholy Ravager. Sorry for the vampire hunt, before you even got into the mod. The link has been posted above. _________________________ Farewell and a long farewell it shall be. Some of us are not destined to meet again.
Nevermind, i found it. Still, it was not included with the hak packs that you listed as need in the dl aread. I had to hunt around for it. Finally found it in the aror falls pw aread.
Glad to hear it. Don't worry your vampire will be waiting for you in its coffin. As for the level start. Level 1 is recomended for first time players. You can import your character from Nosferatu. The above was a typo. Items can be brought in as well. Providing they are from the other two mods. Let me know what you think. Have a great day. _________________________ Farewell and a long farewell it shall be. Some of us are not destined to meet again.
Sounds great! I don't have a lot of time at the moment but I'm eager to check this out one of these days.
Why does it start at lvl 1? Are players of the other two mods supposed to-delevel their character with an external program or mod or does "Thoughts of Darkness" provide that option itself? What about the uber-inventory? Should PCs leave that at home? Will they be stripped of it?
